Matagumpay na isinagawa noong Hulyo 6, 2026 ang 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗠𝗢𝗔) 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 para sa 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗠𝗘𝗜𝗣) sa pagitan ng 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗡𝗠𝗜𝗦) 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻, bilang recipient LGU ng programa.

Pinangunahan ang aktibidad nina Dr. Fernando N. Lontoc, NMIS Officer-in-Charge Executive Director; Dr. Mignon A. Umali, Officer-in-Charge Regional Technical Director ng NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA; at Mayor Atty. Marvin R. Ramos ng Cajidiocan, Romblon, kasama ang iba pang mga opisyal mula sa NMIS Central Office, NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA, at LGU Cajidiocan.

Bilang bahagi ng pagbisita, nagsagawa rin ng courtesy call ang alkalde at kanyang delegasyon kina Dr. Lontoc at Dr. Roberto S. Umali, NMIS OIC-Deputy Executive Director, upang higit pang mapagtibay ang koordinasyon at pagtutulungan sa pagsusulong ng mga programang may kaugnayan sa meat safety at food security.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungang ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng NMIS at LGU Cajidiocan ang pagpapabuti ng mga meat establishment at pagpapatibay ng mga programa sa meat safety upang matiyak na ligtas, malinis, at de-kalidad ang karne para sa publiko.

Ang kampanyang ito ay isang inisyatiba ng NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA, bilang suporta sa mga programa ng National Meat Inspection Service sa meat safety at consumer awareness.

𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 | Ngayong umaga ay nagsagawa ng courtesy meeting ang NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Mogpog upang talakayin ang mga hakbang para sa pagpapaayos at paghahanda ng slaughter facility ng bayan bilang isang recipient ng Meat Establishment Improvement Program (MEIP) ng NMIS.

Pinangunahan ito nina Dr. Mignon A. Umali, OIC-Regional Technical Director, kasama sina Dr. Jasmin R. Ala, Mr. John Rafael M. Pedernal, RAgr, Mr. Michael A. Monterey, PFT, Ms. Annie Rose J. Flores, RAgr, at Engr. Jonazyl Jumantoc, OIC ng NMIS Central Office Engineering Section, sa pakikipagpulong kay Mayor Senen Livelo at mga kinauukulang kawani.

Kabilang sa mga napag-usapan ang application ng captive bolt license, test run ng mga bagong install na equipment, at ang planong pagsasagawa ng SOMOS (Slaughterhouse Operation and Management Orientation) at dry run ngayong Hulyo.

Patuloy ang pakikipagtulungan ng NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA at Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Mogpog para sa ligtas at dekalidad na karne at maayos na meat inspection services sa komunidad.

Ibinabahagi ng NMIS RTOC MIMAROPA ang advisory mula sa National ASF Prevention and Control Program hinggil sa pinakahuling ASF Zoning Status (Abril 24, 2026).

Ating binibigyang-pansin ang positibong pag-usad kung saan maraming siyudad at munisipyo ang na-upgrade sa mas mababang risk zones.

Patuloy po tayong maging mapagmatyag at sumunod sa mga itinakdang biosecurity measures upang mapanatili ang ganitong progreso.
