๐๐Ž๐“๐ˆ๐‚๐„: In anticipation of the forecasted heavy rainfall in NCR, and pursuant to Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 135 dated 10 September 2026, the OGCC, in consideration of the occupational hazards of the inclement weather and possible localized flooding, will adopt a work-from-home arrangement today, 10 September 2026.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

๐๐Ž๐“๐ˆ๐‚๐„: In view of the Presidentโ€™s State of the Nation Address, and to help employees avoid the anticipated heavy traffic and heightened security measures along Commonwealth Avenue and its surrounding areas, the OGCC will adopt a workโ€‘fromโ€‘home arrangement on 27 July 2026.
