BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026: BAYANIHAN SA PAARALAN

June 19, 2026-On this meaningful day, the officers, enlisted personnel, and citizen-soldiers of the 2nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, under the supervision of the 1302nd Community Defense Center, NCR Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, gathered at GSIS Village Elementary School, 31 Premium Street, GSIS Village, Project 8, Barangay Sangandaan, Quezon City to actively participate in the annual Brigada Eskwela program with one common goal: to ensure that our learning institutions are safe and clean.

True to the spirit of service and patriotism, members of the unit volunteered their time, effort, and skills to undertake various tasks—from cleaning school grounds, repairing facilities, repainting walls, to organizing classrooms. Every sweep, every repair, and every coat of paint symbolizes our commitment not only to defend our nation but also to nurture its future: the youth.

As members of the Reserve Force, we stand ready not only in times of calamity or national emergency but also in times of peace and community development. This activity is a clear demonstration that the Philippine Army Reservists are partners in progress, deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

We extend our gratitude to the officials of Barangay Sangandaan, the residents of GSIS Village, and all volunteers who joined hands to make this initiative a success. Through Bayanihan, we build better spaces for learning, and brighter futures for every Filipino learner.

Para sa Bayan at Kinabukasan!

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026: BAYANIHAN SA PAARALAN

Guided by the spirit of unity and shared responsibility, the 2nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, under the supervision of the 1302nd Community Defense Center, spearheaded Brigada Eskwela activities at Doña Juana Elementary School on 13 June 2026. Aligned with this year’s theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman”, the activity brought together reservists, school officials, and community volunteers to prepare the school grounds and facilities for the upcoming academic year.

Personnel performed general cleaning, repair of chairs and tables, repainting of classrooms, and clearing of debris and overgrown vegetation. Their efforts focused on creating a safe, orderly, and conducive learning environment for students and teachers alike. Through collective effort and dedication, the team demonstrated the true essence of bayanihan — working hand-in-hand for the welfare of the youth and the betterment of the community.

This initiative highlights the commitment of the reserve force not only in national defense but also in nation-building and community service. It reinforces the strong partnership between the military and civilian sectors, proving that when united, we can build better spaces for knowledge and progress.

To all personnel: Your service protects communities and builds a safer country. Sulong Laang Kawal!
