Vaccines prevent hospitalization and severe illness from COVID-19.

Data from the QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU) show that majority of the city’s active cases are not vaccinated.

Those who contracted the disease but are fully vaccinated are only asymptomatic, or considered mild or moderate cases.
