We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Solemnizing Officers together with their administrative staff of the Palawan Ecumenical Council (PAEC) for their active involvement in the Re-Echo Orientation on the Pre-Marriage Orientation Guidelines and Implementation Procedures for Solemnizing Officers.

Held on May 15, 2026, at UCCP along Wescom Road, Puerto Princesa City during the PAEC General Assembly, the activity sought to enhance and harmonize marriage preparation processes, including scheduling arrangements and documentary requirements for engaged couples in the city, along with the emphasis on their contributions, roles and responsibilities as Solemnizing Officers.

Through the continued cooperation of all stakeholders, this initiative supports the development of stronger, informed, and well-prepared families within the community.

The MIMAROPA Jingle-Making Competition is still open for entries until June 15, 2026!

With the theme “𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻: 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗱,” this competition calls on MIMAROPA’s amateur composers, local songwriters, and lyricists to create a jingle that celebrates youth potential, responsible choices, and the power of investing in the next generation.

Bata pa si Nene, pero bakit nanay na siya? 💔

Ngayong Safe Motherhood Week, hindi tayo pwedeng manahimik sa katotohanang kinakaharap ng ilan sa ating mga kabataan. Ayon sa 2025 National Demographic and Health Survey, 4.9% ng mga kabataang edad 15 hanggang 19 ang nakaranas ng maagang pagbubuntis.

Higit pa sa datos, isa itong usapin ng batas at karapatan—dahil ang pakikipagtalik sa menor de edad ay itinuturing na statutory r**e, may consent man o wala.

Kaya bilang bahagi ng usaping pangkalusugan ng kakababaihan, ating hihimayin ang realidad sa likod ng mga numerong ito. Samahan kami at si Ms. Mylin Mirasol Quiray ng
Commission on Population and Development para sa ating episode na “Nanay na si Nene: Ang Realidad ng Maagang Pagbubuntis.”

Another glimpse of the Adolescent Pregnancy Symposium and U4U session was held at the Barangay San Miguel - "Most Child-Friendly Barangay" through its SK Federation and BLGU. We do hope that such activities have empowered the youth to become more proactive members of the community. Together, we can continue fostering future-ready Puerto Princesans.
