|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay conducted its Tree Nurturing Activity as part of our continuous effort to care for the environment and sustain what we have started.

These fruit-bearing trees were planted a year ago during the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan, and today, we’re proud to see how much they’ve grown!

During the activity, we cleaned the area, poured fertilizers, and made sure that each tree is properly cared for, ensuring their healthy growth for the years to come.

We can’t wait to see these trees flourish even more in the future a living reminder of our shared commitment to a greener and more sustainable Barangay Kalipay!

|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay proudly re-opens its urban gardening project, new, innovative, and sustainable the “Community Farmtry,” inspired by the concept of a Community Pantry!

In this Community Farmtry, everything is free, fresh and healthy vegetables are available for our constituents to get according to their needs.

With our continuous advocacy to promote sustainable urban gardening, we’ve taken a step forward by transforming our traditional soil-based pots into Hydroponics, a clean, organic, and eco-friendly way of growing plants without soil.

This project also seeks to promote food security and preparedness for unexpected occurrences or crises, ensuring that our community remains resilient and self-sustaining.

Together, let’s nurture a greener, healthier, and more food-secure Barangay Kalipay!

|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay has successfully launched the Kabataan Kontra Dengue at Malaria program! 🦟

This initiative comes in response to the rising number of Dengue and Malaria cases in our community, as we strengthen our collective fight against these deadly diseases.

As part of the program, the SK distributed mosquito nets, mosquito coils, insect repellents, and informative flyers to equip our youth and residents with both protection and knowledge.

This project highlights our strong commitment to support health-based programs and to safeguard the community, especially the young, against these threats. Together, let us continue building a healthier and safer Barangay Kalipay!

|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay releases the official list of beneficiaries of the Anti-Mosquito Kits Distribution!

This initiative is part of the SK program “Kabataan Kontra Dengue at Malaria,” which aims to strengthen the community’s awareness and protection against mosquito-borne diseases. Through this project, we continue to promote healthier and safer households, especially during this season of rising cases.

The official release of the Anti-Mosquito Kits will be announced soon, so stay tuned for updates!

Together, let’s build a Kalipay that is protected, informed, and proactive in safeguarding everyone’s health and well-being.

| Today, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay proudly distributed the Dishwashing Liquid products made by the youth during yesterday’s FOAMULA 101 Training!🫧🧼

A total of 200 bottles were successfully produced and distributed to various households, businesses, and building establishments around Barangay Kalipay. This activity highlights the creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit of our young participants, proving that even small initiatives can make a big impact in our community! 🫧🧼

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay has successfully conducted FOAMULA 101: A Dishwashing Liquid Making Training! 🧼🫧

This initiative was designed to enhance the youth’s creativity and entrepreneurial mindset by equipping them with practical skills in making sustainable household products. Through this training, participants learned not only how to make their own dishwashing liquid but also how to turn this simple craft into a potential source of income, empowering them to take their first step toward entrepreneurship.

As a token of appreciation, the SK of Barangay Kalipay distributed Dishwashing Liquid Making Starter Kits to the participants and gave them the very products they proudly created during the training, a small yet meaningful reminder that big opportunities can start from simple beginnings. 🙌🫧

|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay has successfully placed the “Shoot that Bottle” trash bins in different areas of our community!

This initiative is more than just about having bins, it’s about strengthening our campaign for proper waste segregation and instilling a fun and engaging way for the youth to take part in environmental care.

To make it even more exciting, the bins were designed like basketball rings, so you can literally “shoot your junks”while promoting clean and healthy waste disposal.

Through this project, we aim to show that taking care of the environment doesn’t have to be boring. With creativity and teamwork, we can turn even the simplest habits into something fun and meaningful.

This project is not meant for aesthetic purposes but for the safety and protection of every Kalipay resident.

|| The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalipay has successfully conducted YOUNITED: Community Action, Response, and Intervention.

This program featured two important sessions: Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) and HIV/AIDS and Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Seminar. Both were designed to equip the youth with the right knowledge, values, and awareness to make informed choices and to take an active role in building a safer, healthier, and more resilient community.

Through YOUNITED, we continue our commitment to guide and empower the youth, standing united for the protection of their health, their future, and our community’s well-being.
