PUBLIC ADVISORY

Makakaranas ng water interruption ang mga kabahayan sa Brgy. Maryugon bukas, May 29, 2026 simula alas 8:00 ng umaga hanggang alas 12 ng tanghali.

Ito ay dahil sa pagsasagawa ng DMA ( District Metering Area) malapit sa INC Church sa naturang Barangay.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag imbak ng tubig sa oras na magkaroon ng tuloy tuloy na daloy nito. Dahil nga sa nagpapatuloy na quarrying activity sa Maoyon Source kung kaya’t limitado lamang mula ala-1 ng madaling araw hanggang alas-10 ng gabi ang tubig sa Brgy. Maoyon, Mryugon at Lucbuan.

DSWD, GINAWARAN NG PAGKILALA ANG PUERTO PRINCESA CITY WATER DISTRICT SA SUPORTA NITO SA MGA PROGRAMA NG AHENSIYA

Ginawaran ng pagkilala ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD) bilang pasasalamat sa patuloy nitong suporta at malaking ambag sa mga programa at inisyatibo ng ahensiya para sa iba’t ibang sektor at komunidad.

Tinanggap ni Assistant General Manager for Operations Engr. Justino I. Obsanga II, bilang kinatawan ni General Manager Walter J. Laurel, ang naturang pagkilala mula sa DSWD Field Office MIMAROPA ngayong araw.

Ang parangal ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-75 anibersaryo ng DSWD bilang pagkilala sa mga katuwang na institusyon na tumutulong sa pagpapaabot ng serbisyo at suporta sa mamamayan.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Ipinapaabot sa mga residente ng Barangay Maruyugon, Lucbuan, at Maoyon na ang operasyon ng suplay ng tubig ay mula alas-1:00 ng madaling araw hanggang alas-10:00 ng umaga lamang.

Ito ay bunsod ng patuloy na quarrying activity sa temporary source downstream na nagdudulot ng paglabo at pagdumi ng tubig, dahilan upang hindi maging ligtas ang tubig para sa konsumo ng mga residente.

Sa kasalukuyan, hinihintay pa ng PPCWD ang mga materyales na gagamitin sa pagsasaayos ng linya papunta sa primary source na matatagpuan may humigit-kumulang walong ( 8 ) kilometro ang layo mula sa Barangay Maoyon. Ang nasabing linya ay nasira dulot ng Bagyong Tino.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-imbak ng sapat na tubig upang may magamit sa oras ng pangangailangan.

SUPLAY NG TUBIG SA LUNGSOD, APEKTADO NG PAULIT-ULIT NA PAGKAWALA NG KURYENTE.

Nakakaranas ng mahina hanggang sa pansamantalang pagkawala ng suplay ng tubig ang ilang kabahayan sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa bunsod ng serye ng mga brownout simula pa nitong mga nagdaang araw.

Sa kasalukuyan, dahil sa pagbaba ng lebel ng tubig sa mga upstream sources (Gravity Sources) ay malaking porsyento ng tubig ngayon ay kinukuha sa Montible River at mga groundwater sources. Ang mga sistemang ito ay umaasa sa tuloy-tuloy na suplay ng kuryente upang mapatakbo nang maayos. Kapag nawawala ang suplay ng kuryente, pansamantalang ring tumutigil ang operasyon ng mga deep wells at iba pang pumping facilities.

Kahit may mga naka stand-by na generator sets ang mga nasabing facilities dahil sa kawalan ng automatic transfer switching mula PALECO line patungo sa genset operation at karamihan din sa mga pumping stations ay “unmanned” ang pagdalaw ng mga roving operator upang paandarin ang mga gensets ay nagdudulot ng downtime sa ilang pumping stations, partikular sa Montible main sources. Nagkakaroon din ng pansamantalang pagkaantala sa pagbuo ng sapat na pressure na kinakailangan upang maituloy ang normal na suplay ng tubig sa mga konsyumer.

Sa kasalukuyang sitwasyon, may mga pagkakataon “na-basyo” o naiiwang walang laman ang transmission line dahil sa paulit-ulit na power interruption. Dahil dito, kinakailangan ng mas mahabang oras ng recovery ng sistema, lalo na sa mga peak hour at peak demand periods, na nagpapabagal sa pagbabalik ng normal na operasyon.

Patuloy ang isinasagawang monitoring at pagsasaayos ng operasyon at ang pag iinject ng tubig sa mga apektadong lugar.

Pinapayuhan ang publiko na mag-imbak ng sapat na tubig at gamitin ito nang matipid habang nagpapatuloy ang sitwasyon. Patuloy ang aming koordinasyon upang maibalik sa normal ang suplay ng tubig sa lalong madaling panahon.

PUBLIC ADVISORY | WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

Please be informed that there will be a temporary water supply interruption on May 21, 2026 (Thursday) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM affecting Purok Freedom, Areso Ville, and Maunlad Relocation Site in Brgy. Irawan.

This interruption is necessary for the interconnection of the newly installed 6-inch diameter distribution line for Tandikan Ville, Block 9 Maslog to the existing 4-inch diameter distribution line.

Consumers in the affected areas and nearby locations are advised to store enough water for the duration of the maintenance activity.

The disconnection period will officially begin on May 21 , 2026 until the end of the month. Consumers with unpaid balances are encouraged to settle their accounts on or before the due date to avoid water service disconnection.

For faster and hassle-free transactions, payments may be made at the PPCWD Main Office, Rizal Branch, or through our accredited payment partners.

Planning to have your drinking water tested? 💧🔬

Here’s a quick guide from the PPCWD Water Testing Laboratory on the proper procedure for Microbiological Analysis of Drinking Water — from sample collection to submission and claiming of test results.

✔️ Follow the correct sampling procedure
- Chlorinated Water: Sampling bottle must be provided by the Laboratory.
- Non-chlorinated Water: use a new, unused small mineral water bottle. Empty the mineral water sample collection.

✔️ Submit samples within the required time
(Monday- Wednesday/ 8:30am-3:00pm)

Submit the sample/s to the Laboratory not more than 24 hours upon sample collection.
• Submit samples within 2hrs upon time of collection - room temperature
• If submission exceeds 2 hours upon time of collection- keep samples below 10°C using an ice chest with to preserve the samples

Monday Due Date at Puerto Princesa City Water District.

Para iwas hassle at mas mapagsilbihan nang maayos ang ating mga consumers ngayong due date period, nagdagdag ng cashier at payment windows ang PPCWD Main Office sa Sta. Monica para ma-accommodate ang dumaraming consumers na maagang nagbabayad ngayong Lunes.

Ang due date period ay mula May 15–21, 2026. Hinihikayat ang lahat na magbayad bago o sa mismong due date upang maiwasan ang disconnection.
