FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

The City has a large rural population dependent on farming operations; our office serves as a channel of local government in facilitating projects and programs pertaining to animal population. This embraces the animals health division, disease prevention and control, animal dispersal program, rabies eradicati

on drive, upgrading of animal breeds through artificial insemination and other programs assigned by the City Government. To augment lives of rural population by providing extra resources through proper animal raising techniques. To develop plans and programs to increase the number and upgrade the quality of livestock, poultry and other domestic animal used for draft or for human consumption.
