GRATITUDE | PURONGITAN FESTIVAL SPORTS FEST 2026

The Provincial Sports Development Division extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Cuyo, Palawan, headed by Hon. Andrew “Andoy” L. Ong, Municipal Mayor, Mr. Glenn Carlo C. Teodosio, Sports Coordinator, and all the members of the Purongitan Festival Sports Fest 2026 Organizing Committee.

We also express our deepest appreciation to Hon. Governor Amy Roa Alvarez for her visionary leadership and unwavering support for the development and promotion of sports in the Province of Palawan. Her commitment to empowering athletes and strengthening grassroots sports continues to inspire and create opportunities for our young athletes across the province.

The success of the games held from August 5–21, 2026 — featuring Basketball, Volleyball, and Banca Race — was made possible through your warm hospitality, unwavering support, cooperation, and commitment to the promotion of sports.

The strong partnership between the Provincial Government of Palawan and the LGU of Cuyo is a true testament to what we can achieve when we work together toward a common goal — building a stronger, more active, and sports-oriented Palawan.

ARRIVED IN CUYO, PALAWAN! 🇵🇭

The Provincial Sports Team has arrived in Cuyo, Palawan to officiate as Referees and Official Barkers for the Purongitan Festival Sports Fest 2026.

This is in support of the Province of Palawan’s sports development program and to ensure fair and orderly Basketball and Volleyball Tournaments.
