IN PHOTOS📸|| The 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve actively participated in the Joint and Inter-Agency Coordination/Collaboration Seminar on the West Philippine Sea Campaign Plan “MULAT” on the 14th of February 2026 at Narra Lagoon, Narra, Palawan.

The said activity was spearheaded by the Western Command (WESCOM) which aim is to enhance awareness, coordination, and cooperation among various agencies and reservist units regarding national security concerns in the West Philippine Sea.

Also, this activity was graced by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, CDR Joseph Eric L Palattao PN (GSC), of AFP Western Command, ACUCS for RRA, U9. In his message, he highlighted the crucial role of reservists and partner agencies in strengthening national security awareness and supporting the Armed Forces’ mission in safeguarding Philippine sovereignty.

Followed by a seminar, LT Goreati Christi B Manatad PN, of the Civil Military Operations Group served as the resource lecturer and facilitator. She discussed the objectives and key components of the Campaign Plan “MULAT,” emphasizing the importance of informed citizen participation, strategic communication, and unified action in protecting the country’s maritime interests.

This seminar was attended by reservists from different branches of the Armed Forces, including the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and the Philippine Air Force, fostering inter-service cooperation and a unified approach to national defense and security advocacy.

Through its participation, the 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve reaffirmed its commitment to support the Armed Forces in promoting awareness and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders in addressing issues related to the West Philippine Sea, while continuously upholding the values of service, patriotism, and readiness.

The 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve - provided crowd control assistance during the celebration of the 72nd Foundation Anniversary of Barangay Jose Rizal, Aborlan, Palawan on February 2, 2026, particularly during the Parade and the Governor’s Night. The reservists were strategically deployed along the parade route and at the event venue to help maintain order, ensure the smooth flow of participants and spectators, and promote the safety and security of the public throughout the activities.

Led by LTJG SHAIRA B CONSTANTINO PN(RES) and through coordination with barangay officials and partner agencies, the Squadron managed crowd movement, directed attendees, and helped ensure the orderly and successful conduct of the celebration, demonstrating the reservists’ commitment to public service and community support.

422nd Naval Squadron Reserve Concludes Successful Year-End Celebration and Coastal Clean-Up Activity

The 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve successfully conducted its Year-End Celebration and Coastal Clean-Up Activity on December 20, 2025, at Barangay Apurawan, Aborlan, Palawan, together with the Aborlan Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lito O. Tito. The activity marked the culmination of the unit’s annual programs and reflected its continuing commitment to community service, environmental protection, and camaraderie among reservists.

The coastal clean-up activity was participated in by the NFRW Civil Military Operations Officer LTJG CONSTANTINO PN(RES) and the enlisted reserve personnel of the 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Apurawan, community volunteers, and the Local Government Unit of Aborlan. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness, strengthen collective responsibility in preserving coastal resources, and contribute to the cleanliness and sustainability of the barangay’s shoreline.

Following the clean-up activity, a simple yet meaningful year-end gathering was held to recognize the dedication and service of the reservists throughout the year. The activity fostered unity, boosted morale, and reinforced the values of service, discipline, and teamwork among the personnel.

The success of the event was made possible through the active participation and cooperation of all stakeholders, particularly the presence and support of Hon. Lito O. Tito, Municipal Mayor of Aborlan, as well as the Barangay Officials and residents of Barangay Apurawan, whose support greatly contributed to the smooth and orderly conduct of the activity.

This year-end celebration and coastal clean-up not only strengthened the bond between the Naval Reservists and the local community but also underscored the vital role of the Reserve Force in nation-building, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. The 422nd Naval Squadron Reserve remains steadfast in upholding its mandate of service to the country and the people.

IN THE PHOTOS|| The Naval Forces Reserve -West and the 83rd Marine Battalion Reserve, proudly held the inaugural Reservists’ Night 2025 with the theme “Anchored as One” on the 15th of November 2025 at Capitol Convention Center, Provincial Capitol, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

The event was graced by VADM ALFONSO F TORRES JR. PN, Commander, Western Command, as Guest of Honor and Speaker; MGEN DOROTEO JOSE M JALANDONI PN(M), Commander, Naval Reserve Command; CAPT TIRSO L CHAVEZ PN(GSC), Commander, Naval Reserve Center West; and CDR TEODORO JOSE S MATTA PN(MNSA)(RES), Officer-in-Charge, Naval Forces Reserve – West, along with commanders from AFP units under WESCOM JAO, VIPs, partners, and key stakeholders.

This gathering is a part of the pre-anniversary activities leading to NAVRESCOM’s 43rd Founding Anniversary, honoring the dedication and unity of all PN Reservists.

The success of the event reflects the committed leadership of CDR Matta PN(MNSA)(RES) and LTCOL Destriza PN(M)(RET)(RES) of the 83rd MBnRes, together with the steadfast support of partners and hardworking personnel who made the inaugural Reservists’ Night truly memorable.
