𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮ñ𝗼𝗹𝗮, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 – In line with the intensified campaign against wanted persons, the Sofronio Española Municipal Police Station, successfully served a Warrant of Arrest against a Wanted Person on June 24, 2026, at about 10:15 AM in Barangay Pulot Shore, Sofronio Española, Palawan.

The accused, identified as alias “Mijad,” married, farmer and resident of Purok Masigasig, Barangay Labog, Sofronio Española, the said warrant of arrest was formally served to the accused at Barangay Pulot Shore, Sofronio Española, Palawan.

The said joint operation was conducted by personnel of Sofronio Española MPS led by 𝗣𝗟𝗧 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗗 𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗕, 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲, together with personnel of 1st PPMFC pursuant to a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Norferio Barranco Nono, Acting Presiding Judge of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Brooke’s Point-Española, Palawan, dated April 13, 2026.

The accused is facing charges for violation of The Graphic Health Warnings Law (RA 10643) Violation of Section 6 in Relation to Section 10 and 14 with Criminal Case No. 10869, with recommended bail fixed at Php 30,000.00.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Sofronio Española MPS for proper disposition and turnover to the court of origin.

The personnel of Sofronio Española MPS, led by 𝐏𝐋𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐃 𝐑 𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐁, Officer-in-Charge, successfully conducted an operation against a wanted person at Sofronio Española, Palawan.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Norferio Barranco Nono, Presiding Judge of the MCTC, 4th Judicial Region, Brooke’s Point-Espanola, Palawan, dated April 13, 2026, docketed under Criminal Case No.10870, for violation of section 2(a) P.D 1865- illegal trading in petroleum and/or petroleum products() in relation to section 3 of Batas Pambansa blg.33. with a recommended bail fixed at Six Thousand Pesos (Php 6,000.00) for his temporary liberty.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Sofronio Española MPS for proper disposition and turnover to the court of origin.

As we gather today under our flag, we are reminded once again of the honor and responsibility that come with wearing this uniform. The Philippine National Police stands as a symbol of law, order, and service—anchored in our oath to serve and protect the Filipino people.

Today’s message calls us to reflect on being courteous, approachable, and committed to public service, even in the face of criticism, negative impressions, and harsh comments from the community we serve.

It is no secret that our institution continues to face challenges. Public trust is not always easily given, and at times, it may feel like our efforts go unnoticed or misunderstood. But as police officers, our duty does not depend on praise, nor does it weaken in the presence of criticism.

Instead, these challenges must strengthen our resolve.
Being courteous means showing respect to every individual we encounter—regardless of their background, status, or attitude. A simple act of kindness, a calm response, or a respectful tone can build bridges where distrust once stood.

Being approachable means allowing our communities to feel safe and confident in coming to us. We are not just enforcers of the law—we are partners of the people. When they see us as allies, not adversaries, we create stronger and safer communities.

And above all, being committed to public service means placing the welfare of others above our own. Despite the noise of criticism, despite the weight of expectations, we continue to serve because that is our mandate—and more importantly, our oath.

We must always remember: the badge we wear is not just a symbol of authority, but a constant reminder of accountability. Every action we take reflects not only on ourselves, but on the entire organization.

Let us not be discouraged by negativity. Instead, let us rise above it through integrity, discipline, and genuine service. Trust is not demanded—it is earned through consistent actions, through transparency, and through our unwavering commitment to do what is right.
