HAPPENING NOW: The City of Puerto Princesa, through its GAD Focal Point System, convenes its Technical Working Group and GAD Focal Persons for the Presentation of the Consolidated GAD Plan and Budget FY 2027—a significant step in advancing gender-responsive and inclusive development.

Through the leadership of Lucilo R. Bayron, together with the GAD Focal Person and Carlos Abogado, this initiative reaffirms the city’s commitment to uphold the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710) and strengthen programs that empower every sector of the community.

Congratulations to the three outstanding Grade 12 – ABM Amethyst students of Sicsican National High School Sicsican NHS for successfully completing their Work Immersion Program at the Strengthening Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System Office of the City Government of Puerto Princesa.

The students rendered a total of Eighty (80) hours of work immersion from February 23, 2026 to March 11, 2026, gaining valuable exposure and practical experience within the office.

Throughout the immersion period, the students demonstrated dedication, responsibility, and commitment in performing their assigned tasks, reflecting the values of discipline and public service expected of future professionals.

This recognition is issued this 11th day of March 2026 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines.
The certificate is signed by Carlos Abogado, Assistant City Administrator and GAD Focal Person, and Lucilo R. Bayron, City Mayor.

Empowering Our Barangays: Strengthening Grassroots Governance through GAD!

The City Government of Puerto Princesa, led by Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron and Assistant City Administrator/GAD Focal Person Carlos Abogado, proudly supports the continuous development of our local leaders!

We extend our sincere gratitude to Barangay Matahimik for inviting the City GAD Office to serve as Resource Speakers during their Annual Seminar for CY 2026, held today at Alaamid Bed and Breakfast, Brgy. San Manuel.

Ms. Pearl N. Binondo from the City GAD Office is currently leading vital discussions on:
