Changing Lives, Building a Safer Nation 𝗣𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 is a facility located in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines.

It is the designated detention center for women who have been arrested or convicted of various offenses in the region. The female dormitory is a part of the larger Puerto Princesa City Jail, which is managed by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). This dormitory specifically houses female inmates, providing a separate and secure environment for them within the jail system. The facili

ty also provides various rehabilitation programs aimed at helping the inmates reintegrate into society, including educational and vocational training, as well as other support services. The jail has received attention for its initiatives to improve the lives of those incarcerated, including efforts to help inmates develop skills and prepare for life after release.

Nagpakita ng malasakit at pagbabalik-tanaw ang mga dating Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) sa Puerto Princesa City Jail – Female Dormitory (PPCJ-FD) matapos magsagawa ng gift-giving activity para sa mga kasalukuyang PDL nitong nakalipas na Abril 27, 2026.

Batay sa impormasyong ibinahagi ng PPCJ-FD, nagkaloob ang mga dating PDL ng mga sanitary napkin, kape, at iba’t ibang pagkain na malugod namang tinanggap at pinasalamatan ng mga kasalukuyang nakakulong sa pasilidad.

Ayon sa pamunuan, ang naturang inisyatibo ay patunay ng positibong bunga ng rehabilitation program ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), kung saan naipamamalas ang pagbabagong-buhay, napapalakas ang kagandahang-loob, at naitataguyod ang pag-asa para sa muling pagbalik sa lipunan.

Samantala, tiniyak ng PPCJ-FD ang kanilang patuloy na pagsisikap na palakasin ang rehabilitation program upang hubugin ang mga PDL bilang produktibong indibidwal at makapag-ambag sa pagbuo ng mas ligtas at mas maayos na pamayanan. | via John Lawrence Bermil

NAGBALIK para magbigay ng tulong ang mga dating Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) sa Puerto Princesa City Jail Female Dormitory sa isinagawang gift-giving activity nitong April 27, 2026.
Naghatid ang mga dating PDL ng mga sanitary napkin, kape, at iba’t ibang pagkain na tinanggap ng mga kasalukuyang nakakulong sa pasilidad.
Ikinatuwa ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology ang nasabing gawain at tiniyak na patuloy na pagpapaigting ang kanilang mga programa na makakatulong sa lahat ng mga PDL.

In line with the observance of Labor Day, JO1 Rosemarie A Casajeros and JO1 Mike Leonard B Abendan participated in the recently job fair at Robinsons Place Palawan. The event gathered numerous job seekers, including newly graduated criminology board passers and professionals from various fields who expressed interest in pursuing a career in uniformed service.

The activity served as an avenue to provide information and guidance to aspiring applicants who are considering joining the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. Through this engagement, the BJMP continues to support workforce development while encouraging qualified individuals to take part in public service and nation-building.

In line with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s mandate to promote the holistic development of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), the BJMP Puerto Princesa City Jail (PPCJ) successfully conducted its Quarterly Interfaith Forum, in collaboration with various religious ministries such as Islam, Baptist, Seventh Day Adventist, LRC, and AVPP Prison Ministry.

This meaningful gathering reflects BJMP’s continuous effort to strengthen its spiritual care program, recognizing the vital role of faith in the reformation and rehabilitation process. Through the active participation of different religious groups, the forum served as a platform to nurture moral values, encourage reflection, and inspire hope among the PDL.

By fostering unity among diverse faiths, BJMP PPCJ reaffirms its commitment to a compassionate and inclusive approach to corrections where every individual is given the opportunity for renewal, guidance, and a better path forward.
