ARACELI, PALAWAN — Kabuuang ₱500,500.00 na check incentives ang ipinamahagi sa 100 magniniyog mula sa Brgy. Tinitian at Brgy. Dagman noong Agosto 13, 2026.

Bahagi ito ng Phase III ng Massive Coconut Planting and Replanting Program (MCPP) – Participatory-Based, na naglalayong suportahan ang mga magniniyog at patuloy na palakasin ang produksyon at kabuhayan sa sektor ng niyog. 🥥🌱

🌴🤝 ONE TABLE, ONE GOAL: LESS CONFUSION, BETTER PERMITS!

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) – Palawan and the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) convened for a Technical Conference on August 18, 2026, at the PCSDS Conference Room in Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City.
The conference provided a venue for both agencies to discuss and clarify the permitting and regulatory requirements concerning the cutting of coconut trees and the use and operation of chainsaws in Palawan.

Key discussions focused on the
relationship between PCA-issued permits and authorizations and the regulatory requirements of PCSDS under Republic Act No. 7611 (Strategic Environmental Plan for Palawan Act) and PCSD Administrative Order No. 07, Series of 2023. Practical concerns on permitting procedures, documentary requirements, validity of permits, and regulatory jurisdictions were likewise addressed.

Through continued dialogue and collaboration, PCA and PCSDS reaffirm their commitment to consistent implementation, strengthened enforcement, and compliance with existing laws and regulations, while ensuring the protection of Palawan’s environment and the welfare of coconut farmers. 🌴🌿

💰 GROWING COCONUT, EMPOWERING FARM WORKERS! 🌴🥥

A total of ₱1,583,825.00 in check incentives was simultaneously awarded to 42 farm workers from the municipalities of Narra, Brooke’s Point, Bataraza, and Rizal, as well as the City of Puerto Princesa.

The incentive distribution represents the Phase II implementation of the Participatory-Based Coconut Planting and Replanting Program (PCPP) – Option III, under the Coconut Hybridization Program – OPV Parentals CY 2025.

The awarding highlights the Philippine Coconut Authority’s (PCA) continued support for coconut farm workers and its commitment to strengthening the coconut industry through participatory-based planting and replanting initiatives.

🌴🩺 HEALTHCARE CLOSER TO OUR COCONUT FARMERS! 🥥💚

A series of coordination meetings was conducted by PCA-Palawan personnel, led by PDO I–Community Organizer Jemar G. Salmingo, with the Municipal Government Units (MGUs) of San Vicente, Taytay, and Aborlan, Palawan, in preparation for the upcoming Mobile Health Services.

The coordination focused on ensuring the proper arrangements and logistical preparations for the delivery of accessible healthcare services to coconut farmers and their families in the respective municipalities.

Through strong collaboration with our local government partners, PCA continues to bring essential health services closer to the coconut farming communities. 🌴💚
