True to the spirit of Bayanihan and guided by the standard of excellence, our school successfully concluded the search for the Best Brigada Eskwela Classrooms.

PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION: PGNHS holds 1st General SPTA Meeting, welcomes back Dr. Agellon

A strong school community starts with collaboration!
Puerto Galera National High School successfully conducted its 1st General School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Meeting yesterday, June 11, 2026.

It was a special day for the PGNHS family as we officially welcomed back a familiar face to lead our school—our new Principal, Dr. Vic Agellon! Along with his return, yesterday's assembly was also the perfect opportunity to introduce our dedicated roster of teachers for this school year.

To ensure our students' safety and success, several important school policies and updates were discussed with the parents and guardians:
• Child Protection Policy (Mrs. Nancy J. Lacdang) – Keeping PGNHS a safe and nurturing environment for every learner.
• School Rules and Regulations (Mr. Mitchelle M. Lopez) – Maintaining discipline and proper conduct inside the campus.
• Three-Term Calendar (Dr. Victorino B. Agellon) – A guide to our academic timeline and important school dates.
• ARAL Program (Dr. Victorino B. Agellon) – Our continued academic support and learning recovery initiative.
• Other relevant school concerns and upcoming projects.

Even past our official Day 5, our community’s generosity knows no deadlines. We are deeply grateful to the donors still sending in support. This proves that bayanihan isn't just a 5-day event—it’s a 24/7 commitment to our students' future. Because of you, we are going above and beyond 100%!

And just like that... Day 5 is a wrap! 🎬🏫🙌

The chairs are lined up, the classrooms are spotless, and the halls are bright. Thanks to five days of non-stop bayanihan, our school is officially 100% READY for the opening of classes! Our teachers are excited, and our rooms are waiting.

To our zealous Brigada partners, volunteers, and heroes from both the public and private sectors: SALUDO PO KAMI SA INYO! 🫡❤️ You showed up, you stepped up, and you made this the most successful Brigada Eskwela.

Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong walang-sawang pagmamahal sa ating paaralan at sa kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan. Tagumpay nating lahat ito!

Day 4: Non-stop energy, non-stop support! 💪🏫

We’re nearing the home stretch, but our volunteers aren’t slowing down! Today was all about sustaining that incredible momentum.

A massive thank you to all our amazing stakeholders who dropped by today to deliver much-needed donations and lend a helping hand. The bayanihan spirit is alive and well in our community, and it shows in every freshly painted wall and clean armchair.
