The Sangguniang Bayan Office of Pudtol in partnership with the Office of the Municipal Mayor Atty. Edmar D. Pascua and through the initiative of Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Municipal Vice Mayor together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members and Mr. Riel C. Pascua, Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan donated supplies to Pudtol Vocational High School, San Luis, Pudtol, Apayao, and to Mataguisi Comprehensive National High School, Mataguisi, Pudtol, Apayao on this day June 8, 2026.

Mr. Milmar Bunnao, School Principal of PVHS and Mr. Ronie Queddeng, School Principal of MCNHS warmly welcomed the officials of the Sangguniang Bayan Office and later gave their thanks to the donated supplies. PVHS received pails and tubs to be used in their classroom comfort rooms while MCNHS received pails and tubs for their CR's and trash bins to be used for proper waste segregation.

This initiative is truly an example of a great commitment of the Local Government Unit of Pudtol to its' constituents.

Pursuant to the celebration of the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence on June 12, 2026 (Friday), notice is hereby given of the adjusted workweek schedule for the Municipal Government of Pudtol.

Accordingly, all offices and employees of the Local Government Unit of Pudtol shall revert to the regular working schedule of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from June 8, 2026 (Monday) to June 11, 2026 (Thursday).

7:00 AM to 6:00 PM working schedule shall automatically resume on June 15, 2026.

Please be guided accordingly.

The Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Municipal Vice Mayor of Pudtol attended the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Graduation Ceremony held at Brgy. Cabatacan, Pudtol, Apayao last June 5, 2026.

During her inspirational message, she emphasized the essence of education to every youth and learners and gave words of encouragement to the graduates.

According to the Mr. Arnold Tomas, EPS and ALS Focal Person, Pudtol has the highest number of ALS graduate in the entire Province of Apayao.

The Sangguniang Bayan Office of Pudtol headed by Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Municipal Vice Mayor, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members deliberated and approved several legislative measures and agreement during the regular session held on June 1, 2026 at the Session Hall Legislative Building.

Ordinances Approved for Public Hearing:
1. Business Identification and Price Display-"An Ordinance establishing standards for business identification and price displays within the Municipality of Pudtol."
2. Breastfeeding Corner Ordinance-"An Ordinance requiring all government offices, agencies, private establishments, and institutions in the municipality to establish breastfeeding corners or designated breastfeeding areas, including the appropriation of funds therefor and for other purposes."
3. Apayao Provincial Hymn Hand Gesture Ordinance-"An Ordinance adopting and localizing Provincial Ordinance No. 13, Series of 2020, institutionalizing the proper hand gesture during the singing of the Apayao Provincial Hymn, "Apayao Forever," within the Municipality of Pudtol.
4. Senior Citizens Desk Ordinance- "An Ordinance establishing a Senior Citizens Desk in every Barangay of the Municipality of Pudtol.

Other matters acted upon:
1. Approved Barangay Ordinance No. 1, Series of 2026 of Barangay Malibang, Pudtol, Apayao otherwise known as the Ordinance institutionalizing the annual Abuyug Festival.
2. Authorizing the Municipal Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Mariano Marcos State University-Batac City for the work immersion and internship placement of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering students.
3. Authorizing the Municipal Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Apayao State College for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program of Students enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) program.
4.Authorizing the Municipal Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Excel-2AM Hazardous Waste Transfer Operation Services and the Philippine Global Energy Department and Construction Corporation for the collection, transport, treatment and disposal of hazardous healthcare wastes in compliance with Republic Act No. 6969, otherwise known as the Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act of 1990.

The said computer set was set up and ready to be used for official transaction of the barangay which was gratefully accepted by Hon. Medie Fuertes, Brgy. Captain of Cabatacan and other officials of the barangay.

Legislative Office Conducts Public Hearing on Agriculture

The Sangguniang Bayan Office of Pudtol headed by Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Municipal Vice Mayor conducted a Public Hearing on April 29, 2026 at the ECB Jr. Clubhouse and Multi-purpose Building, Pudtol, Apayao on the proposed ordinance, “An Ordinance Instituting the Rice and Corn Farmers Enterprise Development Program in The Municipality of Pudtol, Apayao, and Appropriating Funds Therefor and for Other Purposes."

Hon. Ma. Mina Grace A. Sangil, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, and Slaughterhouse provided a comprehensive overview of the proceedings. She presented the proposed ordinance for deliberation, stating that the primary goal is to ensure corn and rice prices within the municipality are properly regulated. She noted that the proposal relies on Republic Act No. 11321, also known as the Sagip Saka Act of 2019. This Act covers both farmers and fisherfolk, aiming to increase their income by establishing a direct, sustainable, and inclusive procurement system.

Present during the Public Hearing were the Hon. Hector Reuel D. Pascua, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member, Engr. Wena Buston, DTI Apayao, Ms. Meriam B. Palsic, POAS-PLGU, Dr. Ralph Venzon, OAS, and Mr. Romulo L. Padirayon Jr. Also in attendance were Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Municipal Vice Mayor together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, Hon. Ma. Mina Grace A. Sangil, Hon. Benigno Baydan III, Hon. Russell V. Galut, Hon. Cleofil C. Collado, Hon. Julian C. Patayan Jr., Hon. Efleda A. Garde, municipal office heads Mr. Michael C. Villanueva, Municipal Treasurer, Mrs. Marivic B. Lagmay, Municipal Agriculturist, and barangay chairpersons of committee on agriculture, active rice and corn farmers, and members of cooperatives and associations.

The committee acknowledged various stakeholders' and farmers' concerns raised during the said public hearing, which will be integrated into the final review process of the proposed measure.
