As the Committee Chair on Market and Other Business Establishments, I am grateful for a very productive committee and council meeting held together with our Municipal Administrator Mr. Silver Ian Dimaano, SB Committee Members Hon. Efleda Garde and Hon. Maribel Sipsip, and the concerned agencies and offices: BPLO represented by Ms. Jenny May Padre, MPDO headed by Sir Norbert Abulencia, the Treasury Office represented by Sir Michael Villanueva and Ma’am Gigitte Wamil, and from the MEO, Mr. Sagun.

Together, we shared valuable insights and ideas on how to further develop our Public Market and improve the welfare, organization, and opportunities of our market stall operators through better coordination and policies.

Attended the public hearing on the proposed ordinance institutionalizing the “Pudtol Rice and Corn Farmers Enterprise Development Program.” A meaningful step toward strengthening support for our farmers, enhancing productivity, and promoting sustainable agricultural growth in our municipality.

A successful public hearing on the four proposed ordinances was held on April 8, 2026, at the ECB Jr. Clubhouse in Pudtol, Apayao. The activity brought together valuable insights and shared ideas from the community and concerned agencies. All inputs gathered will be carefully incorporated, and we are pleased to announce that the ordinances have been moved for the 3rd and final reading.

As Committee Chairman on Market and Other Business Establishments, and Committee Chairman on Transportation, I have submitted five (5) new ordinances aimed at supporting both operators and the community in the Municipality of Pudtol.

I am pleased to share that all proposed measures have been successfully moved for Second Reading.
