PUDTOL FIRE STATION JOINS THE 126TH PHILIPPINE CIVIL SERVICE ANNIVERSARY THROUGH TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

As part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, carrying the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” Pudtol Fire Station, under the leadership of FSINSP NARDITO B LAURETA JR., Municipal Fire Marshal, together with SFO1 Glenn Mar M Gumpad, FO3 Mon A Corales, FO2 Dan Aesopo C Olivas, FO1 Marjorie-an M Bayaua, FO1 Marc Anthony I Vidad, FO1 Mark B Pulog, FO1 Andres Calasag, FO1 Aldwin A Pallaya, and GIP Katherine C. Juan, actively participated in a Tree Planting Activity at Pudtol Integrated Transport Terminal and Commercial Grounds.

The activity underscores the commitment of public servants to environmental protection, conservation, and sustainable community development. Beyond their mandate in fire prevention, suppression, and emergency response, the personnel of Pudtol Fire Station continue to support initiatives that contribute to the protection of the environment and the well-being of future generations.

PUDTOL FIRE STATION JOINS THE 126TH PHILIPPINE CIVIL SERVICE ANNIVERSARY

Pudtol Fire Station, under the leadership of FSINSP NARDITO B LAURETA JR., Municipal Fire Marshal, together with SFO1 Glenn Mar M Gumpad, FO3 Mon A Corales, FO2 Dan Aesopo C Olivas, FO1 Marjorie-an M Bayaua, FO1 Marc Anthony I Vidad, FO1 Mark B Pulog, FO1 Andres Calasag, FO1 Aldwin A Pallaya, and GIP Katherine C. Juan, actively participated in the Launching Program and Unity Walk in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The activity was spearheaded by Hon. Atty. Edmar D. Pascua, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Pudtol, Pudtol DepEd Family, Pudtol MPS and Amma Jadsac District Hospital Family, demonstrating the strong spirit of unity, cooperation, and camaraderie among government workers and partner institutions.

Carrying the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the activity commenced at the Pudtol Municipal Hall Grounds and culminated at the Commercial Center, Swan, Pudtol, Apayao.

Four basic methods of extinguishing fire:
1. Cooling – Removes heat from the fire, usually by applying water.
Example: Water cools burning wood and reduces its temperature below the ignition point.
2. Smothering – Removes or limits the oxygen supply needed for combustion.
Example: Covering a small cooking-oil fire with a fire blanket or suitable lid.
3. Starvation – Removes or isolates the fuel from the fire.
Example: Closing an LPG valve to stop the flow of gas.
4. Breaking the Chemical Chain Reaction – Interrupts the chemical reaction that sustains combustion.
Example: Using dry chemical powder from an appropriate fire extinguisher.
