The spirit of unity, culture, and progress filled Barangay Lydia as we officially opened the ASIPARRA FESTIVAL 2026 last April 24, 2026. 🎉✨
The celebration began with a vibrant short motorcade showcasing the stunning candidates of Piya Naya Lydia together with beautifully decorated Kalong-kalong inspired by the rich culture and theme of this year’s Asiparra Festival. The streets came alive with colors, pride, and excitement as the community gathered in celebration.
This was followed by the opening of the Agro-Industrial Fair featuring local products, ingenuity, and the hard work of our people. One of the highlights of the day was the Cooking Competition where participants proudly showcased indigenous dishes and traditional cooking methods that reflect the unique identity and heritage of our community.
Another meaningful milestone during the opening celebration was the Ceremonial Groundbreaking Activity for the Barangay Lydia Water System, symbolizing our continuing commitment toward sustainable development and better public service for every resident of Barangay Lydia.
The day concluded with the Program Proper attended by municipal officials, guests, stakeholders, and visitors who joined us in celebrating our culture, traditions, and aspirations as one community.
Barangay Lydia would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine National Police (PNP) for their invaluable assistance and presence in ensuring a festive, peaceful, and orderly celebration. To the Bureau of Fire Protection and LDRRM Office for helping us with the needed water supply during the occasion. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the municipal offices, agencies, and personnel who generously shared their time and expertise as judges for the Cook Fest and Agro-Industrial Fair.
To our Municipal Officials, thank you for gracing the occasion with your presence and unwavering support. And to all our visitors, guests, participants, and every individual who became part of this memorable opening celebration — thank you for making the ASIPARRA FESTIVAL 2026 a meaningful and successful event.
Together, let us continue to celebrate our culture, strengthen our unity, and work towards a brighter future for Barangay Lydia.
