LOOK: The local government unit (LGU) of Prosperidad has turned over the P2,000,000 Level III water system to Barangay La Caridad, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

Mayor Frederick Mark P. Mellana led the turnover ceremony, joined by Sangguniang Bayan (SB) members Jala Jeffry Glenn, Nelven T. Rufon, Tata Alinas Jagonia, and Jing Alaan.

Also present were Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) Engineer Ludel Paray-Lopez, Dr. Villarazo, Punong Barangay Johnny Libando, and other barangay officials of La Caridad. (Mayor Frederick Mark P. Mellana)

🚰 Turnover of Barangay La Caridad Water System Level III 🚰
A step towards better access to clean and safe water for our community! 💧

The construction of the Barangay La Caridad Water System Level III was officially turned over, headed by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Frederick Mark P. Mellana. In his message, Hon. Mayor Mellana also shared that Barangay La Caridad will be a beneficiary of various future projects, further strengthening development and services for the community. 🤝

Joined by the Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Jeffry Glenn A. Jala, Hon. Jing Alaan, Hon. Emedita A. Jagonia, Hon. Nelvin Rufon and SK Chairperson Hon. Nishi Ann J. Coyoca. Present also are the barangay officials headed by Barangay captain, Hon. Jhonny N. Libando. This project aims to provide a more reliable and sustainable water supply for the residents of La Caridad, improving health, sanitation, and quality of life. 🌱

"Ribbon Cutting and Turn-over Ceremony of Water System Level III Barangay La Caridad"

Today, August 11, 2025, will forever be remembered as a day of progress and hope for Barangay La Caridad. After years of waiting and dreaming, the sound of flowing water will now be a daily blessing for our community.

With an Approved Budget of ₱2,000,000.00, Implemented by the Office of the Local Government Unit of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, Headed by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Frederick Mark P. Mellana. Together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Jeffry Glenn A. Jala, Hon. Jing Alaan, Hon. Emedita A. Jagonia, Hon. Nelvin Rufon and SK Chairperson Hon. Nishi Ann J. Coyoca. Especially, the Barangay officials headed by Punong Barangay, Hon. Jhonny N. Libando. The Level III Water System now stands as a testament to what collective effort and commitment can achieve.

This project opens the taps for 470 households and 543 families, bringing clean, safe, and reliable water directly to our doorsteps. It is more than a convenience it is life flowing freely, health being safeguarded, and dignity being preserved.

Today, we celebrate not just the arrival of water, but the fulfillment of a promise, the easing of burdens, and the beginning of a better tomorrow for every family in Barangay La Caridad.
