The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga, chaired by DOLE Caraga Regional Director Atty. Jason P. Balais, announced the effectivity of the second tranche of Wage Order No. 20, providing an increase of P20 in Caraga, bringing the daily minimum wage to P475.

The announcement was made during the opening program of today's 124th Labor Day celebration at Robinsons Place Butuan.

Barangay officials will serve longer terms while maintaining existing term limits, on the other hand, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials will now serve a single fixed term under Republic Act No. 12232, which will be implemented in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) set on November 2, 2026.
