For the future of our students. 📚
The Committee on Education conducted a hearing on

Draft Ordinance No. 2026-32** : An Ordinance Establishing the Municipal Career Development and Coaching Program for Senior High School Graduates in the Municipality of Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon. — authored by yours truly ✍️

This program will guide our Grade 10 and Senior High School students — before and after graduation— through Career Development and Coaching Units (CDCU) in every public high school. It will provide personality development workshops, resume coaching, scholarship caravans, job fairs, and TESDA skills training with NC II certification.

Through the joint implementation of LGU, PESO, DOLE, TESDA, and DepEd, and in partnership with other National Government Agencies and stakeholders, we are building clear pathways for our Prietodiazanhon youth to succeed in college, employment, or entrepreneurship.

My deepest gratitude to our committee member and resource persons who joined today, Hon. Ryand Diño, Mr. Albert Domalaon Destura of MYDO, Ms. Mary Rose Domdom of PESO, Mr. Ramilo G. Furaque of Calao National HS, Mr. Pedro U. Himor of Prieto Diaz National HS, and Ms. Ma. Anna Dejocus of Manlabong National HS, for taking the time to attend and for sharing your valuable knowledge and insights in aid of legislation. We look forward to working with more NGAs and partners in the future to further strengthen this program. Together, we are investing in the future of Prieto Diaz.

July 30, 2026 | Nutrition Month 2026 Culminating Activity 🥦🥕🥒🍓🍎🍉🍊

What a beautiful display of unity! ✨
As one of the judges for the 2026 Nutrition Month Nutri Costume Pageant, I witnessed how amazing our community is.

The kids were adorable and so creative, the parents were so proud and supportive.

This event was made possible through the collaboration of the Municipal Nutrition Action Office and MSWDO, together with our hardworking Child Development Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars from the different barangays.

Also present during the event were Mr. Fernando B. Detecio, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Atty. Jothan Detecio, MSWDO Head, Hon. Mayor Romeo D. Domasian, and Hon. Lilia Oliveres.

It truly takes a village, and our village showed up 💪
The creativity of the children and the dedication of our frontliners made the event extra special and meaningful.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve and be part of this celebration!

July 8, 2026 | Committee Hearing sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan - Province of Sorsogon

Honored to be invited as Resource Person and Author for our proposed Ordinance Institutionalizing the Brigada Eskwela Program in the Municipality of Prieto Diaz.

Kasama ang SP Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Culture and Arts sa pangunguna ni Hon. Benito L. Doma, tinalakay natin kung paano pa mas mapapalakas ang bayanihan sa mga paaralan ng Prieto Diaz.

Salamat sa SP Sorsogon sa pagdinig sa inisyatibong ito para sa mga estudyante at g**o natin. Para sa edukasyon ng kabataan! 📚

📍Brgy. San Rafael, Prieto Diaz

Matagumpay naisagawa ang Session sa Barangay kasama ang Sangguniang Barangay ng San Rafael sa pangunguna ni Brgy. Captain, Kap Mike Dichoso. Layunin nito na mailapit ang serbisyo ng Sangguniang Bayan sa mga kabarangay at marinig mismo ang kanilang mga hinaing at suhestiyon.

March 2026 | Ipinagdiwang ang Moving Up Ceremony na may temang _'First Step Towards a Brighter Future'_ (Unang Hakbang Tungo sa Mas Maliwanag na Kinabukasan). Ang seremonya ay simbolo ng pagkilala sa mga unang yugto ng pag-unlad at edukasyon ng mga batang nagsipagtapos, na naglalayong magbigay inspirasyon sa kanila tungo sa isang matagumpay at makulay na kinabukasan.

Bilang isang kinatawan, nagkaroon ako ng karangalan na makadalo sa iba't ibang Moving Up Ceremony sa mga barangay ng Maningcay de Oro, Brillante, Tupaz, Gogon, San Isidro, San Juan, at Sto. Domingo. Nakita ko ang dedikasyon at suporta ng mga g**o, magulang, at komunidad sa paghubog ng mga susunod na henerasyon. Ang mga batang nagsipagtapos ay nagpakita ng kanilang talento sa pagkanta, pagsayaw, at pagtula, na nagbigay sigla sa okasyon.

Ang Moving Up Ceremony ay isang patunay ng pagtutulungan ng paaralan at komunidad sa pagbibigay ng dekalidad na edukasyon at paghubog ng mga batang may pag-asa at pangarap.
