DTI-Capiz Rolls Out 2026 Balik Eskwela In-Store Diskwento Caravan Under UPLIFT Program
Roxas City, Capiz — June 2026 — Building on the success of its earlier initiative, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Capiz Provincial Office is set to conduct the 2026 Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPC) and School Supplies Savers In-Store Diskwento Caravan – Balik Eskwela Edition on June 5 to 7, 2026, in line with the UPLIFT Program under Executive Order No. 110, series of 2026.
This upcoming activity follows the successful conduct of the first BNPC In-Store Diskwento Caravan held on 15-17 May 2026 across Capiz, which generated strong participation from local businesses and provided significant savings to consumers. The initial rollout highlighted the effectiveness of government-private sector collaboration in delivering affordable goods directly to the public.
With the positive momentum from the May activity, DTI-Capiz continues to strengthen its consumer support initiatives through this Balik Eskwela Edition, aimed at helping families prepare for the opening of classes. Participating establishments will offer discounts, promo packs, bundled deals, and exclusive tie-ups on a wide range of school supplies and essential commodities.
The initiative is part of DTI’s mandate to ensure the availability and affordability of BNPCs while promoting consumer welfare. It also supports the broader goals of the UPLIFT Program, which seeks to enhance the purchasing power of Filipino consumers through strategic partnerships and targeted interventions.
