HEADS UP!! LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2023!!
Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sanggunian Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan in very barangay, municipality, city and province on the week where the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day (IYD)

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pagalungan presents the Celebration of LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2023 on August 12, 2023 on wards with a Theme: β€œGreen Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World"

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

DANCE COMPETITION 2022

LINGGO NG KABATAAN

1.There must be a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 members each group.
2. All members must be a bonafide residents of Municipality of Polomolok. Open to all 15-30 years old.
3. Appropriate attire must be worn by all members. Removing pieces of clothing during the performance is permitted provided it is not offensive or out of character.
4. The duration of the dance should be a minimum of 4 minutes and maximum of 6 minutes only including the entrance and exit. Overtime and Undertime will automatically deducted 1 point to the total score.
5. The music must not contain inappropriate, lewd, or offensive language. No vulgarity, obscenity, and explicit contents are allowed.
6. Any kind of creative and unique tiktok dance is allowed or any kind of dance with tiktok as their focal thought of choreography, provided that the choreographers of the group have the proper knowledge or background to execute it properly.
7. Performance order will be determined via draw lots.
8. Registration will be on or before September 15, 2022 5:00 PM at Sangguniang Bayan Office of Councilor April Dave B. Sorioso and look for Princess Malinao/Mary Joy Devero.
8. The decision of the board of judges is final and unappealable
9. Strictly NO VACCINE, NO PERFORMANCE
10. Please present your vaccination card, Barangay Certification of Residency and valid or School ID for registration.
11. There will be an Elimination Round on September 18, 2022 by a video entry and please submit it to [email protected] and please wait for confirmation.
12. The confirmation of the finalist will be reached through a cellular phone or via email.

Theme and Music - 20 %
(Musicality, beat technique/syncopation, timing, moves related to the music)
Choreography - 30 %
(Dance Arrangements, Concept)
Performance - 30%
(staging, spacing formations and level/ changes, synchronization, technique ex*****on showmanship and variety tiktok routines)
Attire/Props - 10 %
(creativity and visual effect)
Overall Performance - 10 %

SINGING COMPETITION 2022

LINGGO NG KABATAAN

1.This singing contest is OPEN TO ALL residents of Municipality of Polomolok, male and female singers. 15-30 years old. Free Registration
2. A solo singing competition. Contestant can choose any song but must not contain offensive
3. Contestants will select/provide their own MINUS-ONE piece with 2-3 minutes duration.
Note: The song can be in English,Tagalog or Bisaya
4. Registration starts today until September 15, 2022 or you may contact Princess T. Malinao at +639510414462.
5. Participants will perform live on stage on September 23, 2022.
6. Appropriate Clothing must be observed.
7. The decision of the Judges is final and irrevocable.
8. Strictly NO VACCINE, NO PERFORMANCE
9. Please present your vaccination card, Brgy. Certification of indigency and valid ID for registration.
10. There will be an Elimination Round on September 18, 2022 by a video entry and please submit it to [email protected] and please wait for confirmation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.

This incentive is for graduates with Latin Honors.

CUM LAUDE PHP 2,000.00
MAGNA CUM LAUDE PHP 3,000.00
SUMMA CUM LAUDE PHP 5,000.00

1.The awardee must be 15 to 30 years of age.
2. The awardee must be a registered voter of the Municipality of Polomolok.
3. The Awardee must be a recipient of Latin Honors specifically Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Cum laude in the current academic year. (2021-2022)

REQUIREMENTS

1. Voters Certification from COMELEC
2. Certification of Recognition from the college or university where the awardee graduated.
3. Birth Certificate
4. Any Graduation Picture.
5. First 35 slots for Cumlaude.
6. First 10 Slots for Magna Cumlaude.
7. First 5 Slots for Summa Cumlaude.

The required documents will be submitted to the office of the SK Federation office, Sangguniang Bayan building of Polomolok, South Cotabato.

NOTE. SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS IS ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 15, 2022 (12:00 NOON) Please look for Ms. Princess T. Malinao and Ms. Mary Joy Devero at the office of the SK Federation President Hon. April Dave Baguios Sorioso in case there will be slots (for Summa Cum Laude and/or Magna Cum Laude) that will not be filled in, please wait for further instructions as we will extend the application for Cum Laude graduates to apply to suffice the number of awardees.
