Targetting Polomolok people's satisfaction and realizing the municipality's new branding, Mayor Bernie D. Palencia expressed his approval of adjusting the fund for festival big events when the Festival Core Group, together with Events-In-Charge, presented the line-up of program and activities, Mayor's Office, June 3, 2026.

The municipal mayor acknowledged the philosophy of increasing the proposed budget for several major events as he pinpointed encouraging more active barangay representations and seeing higher level of competitiveness.

Utilizing stakeholders, ensuring smooth procurement of materials, and being prepared of Plan B if crisis worsens were also the key ideas conceptualized by the mayor in budget allocation.

As a follow up to the issues raised in the previous gathering of the Polomolok Education Sector, Mayor Bernie D. Palencia expounded solutions during a meeting with the Local School Board, Mayor's Office, June 2, 2026.

The Mayor urged the Human Resource Management Division Office (HRMDO) to activate the screening and monitor the fitness of the Municipal School Board (MSB) Teachers and directed Mr. Pablo Eulatic, Jr. (LSB Co-Chair) to go into details per school to review their needs.

The body also revisited the Amendment on the use of Special Education Fund (SEF) in awarding incentives to the Palarong Pambansa Medalists of the municipality.

Thus stressed by Outgoing Municipal Administrator Joven Ryan Malida as he convened the members of the Incident Command System (ICS) in lieu of the security preparation for the Independence Day Celebration, MDRRMC Office, June 2, 2026.

As the meeting primarily discussed on the mobility and itinerary after the program in the Municipal Plaza, Polomolok Police Captain Redin Cuevas presented their deployment plan and the security and crowd control.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel who will take charge of the medical and rescue team and the Traffic Management Unit (TMU) team who will pre-position in the designated areas both agreed to coordinate with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) for the orderliness of the flow.

Out of the support and pushing of our Local Chief Executive Engr. Bernie D. Palencia, the Office of Muslim Affairs (OMA) of the Polomolok LGU turned over the renovated Madrasah of Madrasato Mustapha Norodawah Al Islami, Purok Kalamunding, Brgy. Bentung, June 2,2026.

The renovation has been through the collaboration of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE) and the Barangay Affairs Unit (BAU).

The MCE, with the Focal Person Mr. Mastura A. Alba, not only recognized Mayor Palencia's commitment to helping the Islamic community but also the people from different units that contributed to the renovation.

In a speech, incoming Alter Ego of Mayor Bernie Palencia cited his excitement to realize and deliver the continuing goals of the Mayor in serving the public as he pinpointed his promise to align his functions in coordination with all LGU units.

The Region 12 Secondary Sepak Takraw Warriors maintained a 2-0 output from Quarter Finals up to the Championship, sending a message of no-home court advantage to Caraga.
