JOINT COMMITTEE MEETING | September 9, 2026
The Liga ng mga Barangay ng Polangui, through Hon. Jose Niño S. Zamora II, Chairperson, Committee on Barangay Affairs and Liga ng mga Barangay President, together with the Committee on Infrastructure and Public Works, convened a Joint Committee Meeting to discuss the concerns surrounding the DPWH Road Widening Project CY 2024 in Barangay Agos, Polangui, Albay.
The meeting provided an avenue for DPWH representatives, barangay officials of Agos, and concerned stakeholders to clarify the project plans and scope of work, proposed road alignment, implementation status, affected properties and structures, and the concerns of affected residents.
Through open dialogue and proper coordination, we remain committed to listening to our barangays, addressing legitimate concerns, promoting transparency and accountability, and ensuring that infrastructure projects are properly implemented for the benefit of our communities.
