🌱 Project ABLE | A Meaningful Learning Exchange

The Municipality of Pateros was honored to welcome Save the Children Hong Kong 香港救助兒童會 and Save the Children Philippines last August 12, 2026, for a meaningful exchange of stories, experiences, and learnings through Project ABLE.

Our Municipal Nutritionist, Child Development Workers, and Person with Disability Focal Person from MSWDO shared their experiences, insights, and contributions toward promoting inclusive support and opportunities for children with disabilities. 💙

Together, we learn. Together, we collaborate. Together, we build a more inclusive Pateros where every child matters. 🌈🤝

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Municipality of Pateros, sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) at Save the Children Philippines, ang Disability Inclusion and SNAP Workshop bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Disability Rights Week 2026.

Layunin ng gawaing ito na palawakin ang kaalaman at kakayahan ng ating mga Child Development Workers, Barangay Health Workers, at Barangay Nutrition Scholars sa pagtataguyod ng inklusibong pag-unlad ng mga bata at pagbibigay ng nararapat na suporta sa mga batang may developmental delays at kapansanan.

Maraming salamat sa Save the Children Philippines sa kanilang patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta sa pagsusulong ng isang lipunang inklusibo, pantay, at may malasakit sa bawat bata.

Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang Pateros na walang naiiwan. 💙

The 2026 Girl Child Week for March 22 to 28 underscores the need to ensure equal opportunities and protection for girls as they take on vital roles in nation-building. It also complements the celebration of National Women’s Month and International Women’s Day.
