Barangay Bad-as has been chosen as one of the Purok Kalusugan sites of the Municipality of Placer.

In line with this, the PCF Placer staff will be conducting the following activities:

✅ LIBRENG TULI with medicines
✅ YAKAP Enrollment (PhilHealth)
✅ VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) / Pap Smear
✅ Consultation
✅ Health Lectures

Today I donated my Rh-negative blood, one of the rarest types. It may only take a few minutes to give, but for someone in need, it could mean a lifetime. We may never know whose life we save, but every drop carries hope. 🩸

Because of you, many patients are given hope and a second chance. Your bravery inspires others, and we warmly encourage new donors to come forward and be part of this life saving mission.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Barangay Bad-as Council, headed by Hon. Anselmo Espanto, and to our dedicated Kagawad on Health, Hon. Farly Sy, for their full support in making this blood donation activity a success.

Nganong mamugos ang mga health workers nga mo inject ug measles rubella sa mga batang 6-59 mos?

1. Delikado kaayo ang measles ug rubella sa bata
– Ang measles makadala ug taas nga hilanat, pulmonya, kalibanga, pagkabuta, ug usahay kamatayon.
– Ang rubella, kung matakdan ang buntis, makadaot sa sulod sa tiyan sa bata (bungol, buta, problema sa kasing-kasing).

2. Pinaka-vulnerable ang edad 6–59 months
Sa ani nga edad, wala pa lig-on ang resistensya sa bata. Mao ni ang panahon nga pinakadali sila matakdan ug pinakagrabe ang epekto.

3. Preventive, dili tungod kay naa na’y sakit
Ang bakuna dili tambal, kundili panagang daan aron dili na gyud magkasakit ang bata bisan pa ug naay outbreak.

4. Para mapugngan ang outbreak sa komunidad
Kung daghan ang dili mabakunahan, paspas mokatag ang measles. Mao nang gi-mass vaccination aron maprotektahan tanan, apil ang mga bata nga dili pa puwedeng mabakunahan.

5. Libre ug gisuportahan sa balaod
Ang gobyerno naa’y Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) aron masiguro nga tanang bata naa’y access sa proteksyon. Mao nang istrikto ang pag-encourage sa health workers.

Importante nga klaro:
👉 Dili pugsanay sa balaod ang pag-inject. Adunay katungod ang ginikanan nga mubalibad, pero obligasyon sa health workers nga ipatin-aw ang risgo ug benepisyo, kay kaluwasan sa bata ang ilang unahon.
