This International Day of Cooperatives, Senate Minority Leader Kuya Alan Peter Cayetano recognizes the vital role of cooperatives in empowering Filipinos, creating livelihoods, and expanding opportunities for communities across the country.

For years, Sen. Kuya Alan has emphasized that many hardworking Filipinos have the talent, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit to succeed but are often held back by limited access to capital and affordable financing.

Through Cayetano’s Presyo, Trabaho, Kita/Kaayusan (PTK) program, cooperatives across the country have been empowered through livelihood assistance, capital support, and market opportunities, helping more Filipinos build sustainable businesses.
