In reference to DOST–PAGASA Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 12, issued at 05:00 PM today, 10 July 2026, the center of Typhoon INDAY was estimated, based on all available data, at 525 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (22.1°N, 126.7°E). No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal was hoisted and no gale warning was issued over the Province of Camarines Sur.

• In this regard, the suspension of trips for all vessels and watercraft in the Province of Camarines Sur is hereby lifted, effective 05:00 PM today. Accordingly, all trips are now resumed.

• Be guided by PCG Memorandum Circular No. 02-23 dated March 2023, the revised Guidelines on the Movement of Vessels During Heavy Weather.

This advisory shall remain in effect until further notice from this Station, in reference to the weather forecast issued by DOST–PAGASA.

LOOK | Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur, through the Coast Guard Special Operations Group Bicol (CGSOG Bicol), successfully conducted a Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) Orientation and Demonstration for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Iriga City Jail as part of its continuing commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and water safety awareness.

The activity provided the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with essential knowledge and practical skills in water safety, basic life-saving procedures, and fundamental Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) operations. Coast Guard personnel also conducted a practical demonstration on the proper use of rescue equipment and the appropriate response techniques during water-related emergencies, helping participants develop greater awareness of preparedness and effective emergency response.

The activity was conducted in coordination with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Iriga City Jail, reflecting the shared commitment of both agencies to strengthening community resilience, enhancing emergency preparedness, and fostering a culture of safety among all sectors of society.

Through this initiatives, the Philippine Coast Guard remains steadfast in delivering public service beyond the maritime domain by empowering communities through education, preparedness, and life-saving capabilities.

In reference to DOST–PAGASA GALE WARNING NO. 4A, issued at 11:00 AM today, 09 July 2026, strong to gale-force winds associated with Tropical Cyclone "INDAY" are affecting Northern coast of Camarines Sur (Siruma, Tinambac, Lagonoy, Garchitorena, Caramoan).

• In this regard vessels below 250 GT, fishing boats and other small watercraft are SUSPENDED from venturing out to sea within the said municipalities, while larger vessels are advised to remain alert against rough to very rough sea conditions.

• Be guided by PCG Memorandum Circular No. 03-01 dated 02 February 2001 (Guidelines on the Movement of Motorboats/ Vessels in the Absence of a Weather Bulletin in the Locality) and PCG Memorandum Circular No. 02-23 dated March 2023, the revised Guidelines on the Movement of Vessels During Heavy Weather.

This advisory shall remain in effect until further notice from this Station, in reference to the weather forecast issued by DOST–PAGASA.

LOOK | Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur successfully conducted a Troops Information and Education (TI&E) session aboard the Headquarters Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur, focusing on the proper understanding, interpretation, and dissemination of radio messages among personnel.

The session was facilitated by LT KENNY E VILLAFUERTE PCG, Commander CGS Camarines Sur and PO2 Julio Abulkayer S Colarina VII PCG who highlighted the vital role of effective radio communication in the successful ex*****on of Coast Guard operations. Discussions covered the correct interpretation of radio messages, strict compliance with established communication protocols, and the timely and accurate relay of operational information.

The activity also emphasized the importance of maintaining communication discipline, minimizing errors in message transmission, and ensuring seamless coordination among operational units during maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, maritime safety, and emergency response operations.
