V. Bagasina Sr. Memorial High School Triumphs at the 2025 Regional Inter-School Scouts and DXMC Competition
The V. Bagasina Sr. Memorial High School's Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) contingent, comprised of dedicated senior scouts from Units 520, 732, 733, 734, 735, 736, and 737, demonstrated exceptional discipline and scout spirit at the 2025 Regional Inter-School Scouts and DXMC Parade and Competition. Their outstanding performance was a testament to the collective effort of the entire school community. The scouts were proudly accompanied by the impressive DXMC Marching Band, led by Carolyn Gacilla, and the graceful Majorettes, guided by Marichu Celimen. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of their school leadership and stakeholders. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the school principal, Ma’am Fe F. Peralta, for her continuous encouragement. The support from the SGC President, Karen Galan, and the SPTA President, Marietta Esplana, also played a crucial role. Their commitment was further bolstered by the community leadership of Hon. Rene Gonzaga, Brgy. Captain of Himaao, and Hon. Bing Regondola, Municipal Councilor, whose backing ensured a strong foundation for success. The scouts were meticulously prepared and guided by their dedicated BSP School Coordinator, Scout Leader Reynard O. Saludo, alongside a team of committed Scout Leaders: SL Ruby Ann Q. Cardama, SL Leocel B. Dalogdog, SL Charilyn S. Tabusao, SL Victorio C. Maldicas, SL Melinda M. Burabod, and SL Maria Estelita B. Bien. The rigorous training provided by BSP Trainer Aron T. Beldad, in collaboration with the members of the CTP and the Medics, headed by SL Joy E. Ignacio, instilled the discipline and resilience necessary for the parade. With the steadfast support of the entire VBSMHS teaching staff, supportive parents, and other stakeholders, the scouts successfully passed the review of the 2025 Scout Parade with determination, discipline, and a heart of true scouts, bringing great honor to their school and community.

The Investiture Ceremony and Backyard Camping were successfully conducted at V. Bagasina Sr. Memorial High School, marking a meaningful milestone in the journey of scouting for young learners. One of the major highlights of the event was the Investiture of the new members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), officially welcoming them into the scouting movement.

The Backyard Camp featured ten core modules aligned with the badge requirements for the Explorer and Pathfinder Ranks. These modules included Safety, Citizenship, Physical Fitness, Rope Work, First Aid, Cooking, Environment, Weather, Navigation, and Signaling—each carefully designed to build the scouts’ knowledge, character, and preparedness.

Adding spirit and color to the event was the Campfire Presentation, where scouts from Units 732, 733, 734, 735, 736, 737, and the Rover Scouts showcased their talents through inspiring and creative performances.

Another much-anticipated segment was the Search for Mr. and Ms. Scouting 2025, which boosted the scouts’ self-confidence and allowed them to exemplify the qualities of a true scout—brave, disciplined, and honorable.

The Socials Night fostered camaraderie among scouts, giving them the chance to interact, bond, and share experiences with their Ate’s and Kuya’s in the scouting movement.

The value of Duty to God was also highlighted, reminding everyone that gratitude and faith must always remain at the heart of every scout’s life.

In service to the community, the scouts actively participated in Clean-Up Drives, showing genuine care for the environment and fulfilling their role as responsible stewards of nature.

A thrilling part of the camp, the Challenge Valley, gave the scouts the chance to enjoy adventurous activities and create unforgettable memories, adding fun and excitement to their scouting experience.

This successful activity is just the beginning of a greater journey—a journey where every scout can live out the true meaning of scouting: leadership, service, and commitment to the ideals of honor, duty, and country.
