PSSg Jennelyn Tolosa, Asst. WCPD PNCO of Pilar MPS serve as resource speaker during the BATANG KALINGAP: "Bata, Karapatan, Kalinga at Proteksyon." at Brgy. San Rafael, Pilar, Sorogon. The discussion focused on Republic Act No. 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act) and Republic Act No. 10627 (Anti-Bullying Act of 2013). The participants were informed about the different forms of human trafficking, the methods commonly used by traffickers, and the corresponding legal consequences of committing such offenses.
The discussion also highlighted the different forms of bullying, including physical, verbal, emotional, and cyberbullying, as well as the importance of promoting a safe, respectful, and child-friendly environment in schools and communities. The activity aimed to empower children with knowledge of their rights and strengthen awareness on measures to prevent abuse, exploitation, and bullying.
