Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂 𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐀𝐍, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, Provincial Fire Marshal, Sorsogon, headed by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐂 𝐋𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚, Officer-In-Charge, Pilar Fire Station, personnel of Pilar Fire Station conducted an 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 to ensure the availability, functionality, and serviceability of personnel, firetrucks, tools, equipment, and other operational assets.
The activity involved the systematic inspection and verification of firefighting and emergency response equipment to identify any deficiencies, damages, or maintenance requirements. This ensures that all essential assets are properly accounted for, readily accessible, and prepared for immediate deployment whenever an emergency arises.
Regular operational readiness checks are essential in maintaining the station’s capability to provide a fast, safe, and effective response to fires and other emergencies.

The turnover provided an opportunity for the outgoing personnel to properly endorse their assigned duties, responsibilities, operational information, and other important matters to the incoming Shift A personnel. This ensures continuity, accountability, and efficiency in the performance of daily station operations.
Through a systematic turnover of responsibilities, Pilar Fire Station ensures that every incoming duty personnel is properly informed and prepared to carry out their duties and respond to emergencies at any given time.

The activity aimed to ensure the strict implementation of proper uniform wear, compliance with prescribed grooming standards, and adherence to established policies and regulations. It also served as an avenue to assess the overall bearing, appearance, and preparedness of personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities as members of the uniformed service.

Following the ceremony, personnel of the Central Fire Station proceeded with a short station program featuring an informative and inspiring message from 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫 𝐋 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐨, 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, on the topic “𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚.”

By being disciplined in our actions and responsible in our duties, we strengthen not only ourselves but also the team and the community we serve.

Details of Incident:

OOA 07 0741H September 2026, the BFP Pilar Substation–Mercedes Duty Personnel received a report from a concerned citizen regarding a vehicular accident the transpired at Brgy. Danlog, Pilar, Sorsogon. The EMS team immediately responded to the reported incident.

Upon arrival at the scene, the team found one (1) victim.

Victim No. 1: Male, conscious and responsive. An initial assessment was conducted which revealed a laceration on the anterior (palmar side) of the middle finger. The wound was cleaned and a bandage was applied.

The victim refused transport to the nearest medical facility and signed a waiver.

Details of Incident:
OOA 04 1705H September 2026, the BFP Pilar Substation–Mercedes Duty Personnel received a report from a concerned citizen regarding a person in need of medical assistance at Brgy. Danlog, Pilar, Sorsogon. The EMS team immediately responded to the reported incident.

Upon arrival at the scene, the team found one (1) conscious male patient lying on a bed. An initial assessment was conducted and the patient's vital signs were taken and recorded. The patient was also noted to have an elevated body temperature. An NGT (nasogastric tube) was also noted to be in place.

The EMS team transported the patient to the nearest medical facility for further medical evaluation and management while continuously monitoring his vital signs. Upon arrival at the facility, the patient was properly endorsed to the nurse on duty.
