Pilar Fire Station Operation Personnel under the supervision of FSINSP JR B ZEPEDA, Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted water flushing operations in the Municipality of Guinobatan in response to the ongoing activity of Mayon Volcano.

This operation aims to reduce volcanic ash and ensure safer, cleaner surroundings for the community.

Details of Incident:
OOA 1243H 01 May 2026: The BFP Pilar Substation–Mercedes Duty Personnel received a report from MDRRMO Pilar regarding a vehicular accident that occurred at Brgy. Poctol, Pilar, Sorsogon. The EMS and SRF team responded immediately.

Upon arrival at the scene, one (1) victim was found sitting beside the road, being assisted by bystanders. A primary assessment was conducted. The victim sustained laceration on the left temple, on the upper lips and on the left leg

The victim was given first aid, transported to a medical facility and was properly endorsed to the on-duty physician.

OOA 1726H 30 April 2026: The BFP Pilar Substation–Mercedes Duty Personnel received a report regarding a vehicular accident that occurred at Brgy. Salvacion, Pilar, Sorsogon. The EMS and SRF team responded immediately.

Upon arrival at the scene, one (1) victim was found sitting beside the road, being assisted by the officials of Barangay Salvacion. A primary assessment was conducted. The victim sustained laceration on the head and abrasions on the right foot.

The victim was given first aid, transported to a medical facility and was properly endorsed to the on-duty physician.
