The exigency of opening a public secondary school was conceived by most parents when they realized the high cost of sending their siblings to the existing private secondary schools, namely: NOTRE DAME of PIKIT and UNION COLLEGE of MINDANAO. Additional classrooms were put through the efforts of the PTA President Serumamba Makasilang and Pikit Central Elementary School PTA President Ramon C.
