𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗚𝗔

SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA, BARMM — Naging sentro ng pagdiriwang ng ika-7 Bangsamoro Founding Anniversary ang kapakanan ng kababaihan sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang women empowerment sessions na isinagawa ng MSSD sa iba’t ibang bayan sa SGA.

Noong Enero 21, 2026, nagsagawa ng Women’s Empowerment Session para sa 25 miyembro ng BABAE Association sa Old Kaabakan. Sa pangunguna ng PNP Old Kaabakan, tinalakay sa aktibidad ang Violence Against Women (VAW) at Gender-Based Violence (GBV), kabilang ang mga tamang proseso sa pagsasampa ng kaso, gayundin ang pagpapalakas ng kaalaman sa pamamahala ng negosyo.

Kasunod nito, noong Enero 22, isinagawa rin ang BABAE Program sa bayan ng Kapalawan na dinaluhan ng 50 kababaihan mula sa Kapatiran ng BABAE sa Tupig Association at Malilintad na BABAE Tupig Association. Layunin ng aktibidad na palakasin ang kakayahan ng kababaihan sa larangan ng edukasyon, kalusugan, kabuhayan, legal na karapatan, at pamumuno, gayundin ang pagbibigay-proteksyon laban sa karahasan at diskriminasyon.

Sa parehong araw, nagsagawa rin ng Community-Based Women Empowerment and Development Session sa Barangay Simsiman, bayan ng Pahamuddin, na dinaluhan ng 65 kalahok. Nakatuon ang aktibidad sa pagpapalawak ng kamalayan ng kababaihan hinggil sa mga kontemporaryong isyu. Tampok dito ang mga workshop na Identifying the Significant Roles of the Women Sector in the Society at Writing Basic Communication Letter na naglalayong paunlarin ang kakayahan ng mga kababaihan sa pakikipag-ugnayan at pagpapatakbo ng kanilang mga organisasyon.

Isinagawa ang mga aktibidad na ito sa ilalim ng Women Welfare Program (WWP) ng MSSD bilang bahagi ng adbokasiya nito sa pagsusulong ng karapatan at kapakanan ng kababaihan. (𝗝𝗠𝗠/𝗜𝗖𝗗)

𝖬𝖲𝖲𝖣 𝖯𝖺𝗁𝖺𝗆𝗎𝖽𝖽𝗂𝗇 𝖼𝗈𝗇𝖽𝗎𝖼𝗍𝗌 𝖢𝗈𝗆𝗆𝗎𝗇𝗂𝗍𝗒-𝖡𝖺𝗌𝖾𝖽 𝖶𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗇 𝖤𝗆𝗉𝗈𝗐𝖾𝗋𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖣𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗅𝗈𝗉𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖲𝖾𝗌𝗌𝗂𝗈𝗇

In line with the celebration of the 7th Bangsamoro Foundation Anniversary, the MSSD SGA Pahamuddin Field Office recently conducted a women development session at Barangay Simsiman, Pahamuddin, SGA, BARMM on January 22, 2026, Thursday.

A total of sixty-five (65) participants including the fifty (50) members of BABAE, organized by the MSWDO of MSSD Pahamuddin, attended the fruitful empowerment and development session focusing on raising awareness on the pressing issues of the women in Pahamuddin, and identifying their significant roles in sustaining the peace and development of the progressing municipality.

The activity begun with warm welcome message by the active chairman of Barangay Simsiman, Pahamuddin. Followed by the message of support from the Office of the Mayor - Municipality of Pahamuddin, SGA represented by its ever supportive staff.

One of the highlights in the activity is the Workshop 1: Identifying the Significant Roles of the Women Sector in the Society. This is in order for the women participants to further understand their important roles to their respective communities. Sharing of ideas regarding contemporary and pressing issues about women was also given emphasis during the session.

Another workshop was conducted by the MSSD Pahamuddin, Workshop 2: Learning to Draft Basic Communication Letter. This aimed to develop the writing skills of the women participants by providing technical assistance especially in drafting simple communication letter that would help widening their organization's networks in the future.

Lastly, also present in the activity were the active Para-social Workers and Social Work interns of MSSD Pahamuddin — the activity would not be possible without their big help.

As we mark this year’s theme, “𝐵𝐴𝑅𝑀𝑀 2026: 𝑆𝑖𝑚𝑏𝑜𝑙𝑜 𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑎𝑔𝑘𝑎𝑘𝑎𝑖𝑠𝑎, 𝐴𝑙𝑎𝑎𝑙𝑎 𝑠𝑎 𝑀𝑔𝑎 𝑆𝑎𝑘𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜, 𝑎𝑡 𝑃𝑎𝑔𝑝𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑙𝑜𝑦 𝑛𝑔 𝑀𝑎𝑠 𝑀𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑔 𝑛𝑎 𝐵𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑜,” we honor the enduring sacrifices of our mujahideens and the steadfast commitment of peacebuilders who chose dialogue, unity, and service to protect our faith, dignity, and right to self-determination.

This milestone is a reminder that the future of the Bangsamoro rests in our collective hands. As part of its mandate, the Ministry of Social Services and Development remains committed to strengthening communities, protecting the vulnerable, and advancing inclusive development—so that every Bangsamoro family may live with dignity, security, and hope.

Together, we continue the journey toward a more just, peaceful, and resilient Bangsamoro.

𝗠𝗦𝗦𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀

The MSSD SGA Pahamuddin Field Office successfully distributed eyeglasses to the qualified senior citizens in Pahamuddin, SGA.

Eighteen (18) indigent senior citizens received free eyeglasses from MSSD under the Sagip Paningin Para kay Lolo at Lola Program in partnership with Glang Eye Care Clinic.

This initiative aims to help senior citizens with vision problems by providing free eyeglasses to improve their quality of life and give them comfort in daily activities.

Through this program, MSSD shows its continued dedication to delivering social services to senior citizens, especially the underprivileged, to ensure their visual health needs and overall well-being are met.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗠𝗦𝗦𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁

Earlier today, December 13, 2025, the MSSD SGA Pahamuddin Field Office conducted payout activity for the indigent solo parents under Dakilang Bangsamoro Program in the Municipality of Pahamuddin.

Each of the beneficiary had received financial subsidy amounting to 6,000 pesos, covering the period from July to December 2025.

The Dakilang Bangsamoro Program of MSSD provides qualified indigent solo parents with monthly financial assistance of 1,000 pesos along with other interventions following the professional assessment and validation by the social worker.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pahamuddin successfully conducted the Executive–Legislative Agenda (ELA) Formulation and Strategic Planning Workshop on December 2–4, 2025, at Pagana Kutawato Native Restaurant, Cotabato City. The activity served as a vital platform for aligning the priorities of the executive and legislative bodies, ensuring that programs and initiatives for the upcoming term are grounded in a unified and strategic direction. Participants from various offices and sectors were present to contribute their insights and strengthen interdepartmental coordination.

Throughout the three-day workshop, sessions were systematically carried out, beginning with the presentation of LGU accomplishments, sectoral situations, and priority concerns. This was followed by workshop activities where participants identified key development challenges, formulated strategic goals, and drafted legislative measures essential for achieving the municipality’s long-term vision.

The presence of a highly competent resource speaker further enriched the discussions, as he generously shared his expertise, best practices, and technical guidance relevant to ELA formulation and local governance planning.

The activity concluded with the finalization and presentation of the proposed Executive–Legislative Agenda, ensuring that all inputs were harmonized into a comprehensive and actionable plan. The collective efforts of the participants, combined with the valuable knowledge imparted by the resource speaker, made the workshop both productive and meaningful.

With this, LGU-Pahamuddin reaffirms its commitment to effective governance, strategic development, and collaborative leadership for the benefit of its constituents.

𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙋𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣

The MSSD SGA Pahamuddin Field Office in partnership of Municipality of Pahamuddin, SGA successfully conducted payout of the beneficiaries of Kalinga Program in Pahamuddin, Special Geographic Area on December 5, 2025. Each beneficiary, indigent persons-with-disabilities had received financial assistance amounting to 3,000 pesos covering the period from July to December 2025.

In addition, the MSSD Pahamuddin also distributed wheelchairs to the indigent elder persons who were in need of assistive device in order to enhance their capacity and independence for their daily living.

The Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan Program stands as a significant initiative by the MSSD to support persons-with-disabilities in the Bangsamoro region. This provides monthly financial subsidies to the indigent persons-with-disabilities, enabling them to meet their daily subsistence and medical needs.
