SOSA 2026 highlights our dedication to every learner’s success.

SOSA 2026 | “Sa DGNHS, Angat Ka!”

With pride and accountability, Datu Guiambangan National High School (DGNHS) presents its State of the School Address (SOSA) 2026, highlighting the school’s accomplishments and milestones in delivering quality and inclusive education serving a 100% Muslim learners.

This year’s report highlighted the following key areas:

1. School Utilization of Resources (MOOE, SEF, and Iskolar ng Bayan Funds)
Efficient and transparent utilization of financial resources ensured the provision of essential learning materials, improvement of school facilities, and support to various academic and co-curricular programs, directly benefiting learners and teachers.
-Painting of School Walls
-Constructions of 2 Comfort Rooms
-Provision of Hand Washing Facility
-Installation of Electric Water System
-Provision of 10-span School Fence

2. Enrolment
The school recorded an increase in enrolment for the current school year, reflecting strengthened community trust, improved school programs, and effective learner recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring broader access to quality education.

3. Performance of Learners (GPA, MPS, and Learning Gaps)
The school recorded steady improvement in learners’ academic performance as reflected in GPA and Mean Percentage Scores (MPS), while targeted interventions were implemented to address least mastered competencies and identified learning gaps.

4. Literacy and Numeracy Level of Learners
Strengthened reading and numeracy programs-ARAL Pabasa, ARAL PROGRAM and Easy MATIC Program contributed to the gradual improvement of learners’ foundational skills, supporting their overall academic success and readiness for higher-level learning.

5. Achievements in Academic and Co-Curricular Competitions
DGNHS learners actively participated and earned recognition in various district, municipal and even division competitions, showcasing their talents, skills, and competencies across learning areas..

6. Teachers’ Development and Support
The school prioritized continuous professional development through trainings, mentoring, coaching, and participation in the Expanded Career Progression (ECP). These initiatives enhanced teachers’ competencies, instructional delivery, and commitment to providing quality education.

7. Stakeholders’ Participation
The strong collaboration among parents, Barangay local government units, and community partners significantly contributed to the successful implementation of school programs, projects and activities (PPAs) reinforcing a shared responsibility for learners’ development.

These accomplishments reflect the collective dedication of the DGNHS community in striving for excellence and continuous improvement.

Stay safe and dry, everyone! 🌧️

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧, 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗟

Taking into consideration the light, steady rainfall, all academic classes at every level, both in public and private schools within Pigcawayan, are suspended on February 20, 2026.

Because of the continuous rainfall, teaching and non-teaching personnel, including ALS teachers, are not required to report for work, except for those assigned to security, safety, finance, engineering, sanitation, health, and disaster response duties.

The management of school workforce during the suspension shall follow the guidelines under DepEd Division Memorandum OSGOD No. 044, s. 2024.

Today, February 13, 2026, our school was buzzing with ambition and purpose as we held the Culmination of Career Guidance. Through our partnership with Peso Pigcawayan, our students took meaningful steps toward their future professional lives.

Under the dedicated leadership of our Guidance Advocate, Maam Odyssey Laton Abarca, each grade level engaged in activities designed to build character and career readiness:

Datu Guiambangan National High School proudly received laboratory glasswares, tools, and reagents from the Department of Education (Central Office) last February 12, 2026.

The delivered apparatus include Alcohol Burners, Bunsen Burners, Beakers (50mL & 250mL), Erlenmeyer Flasks, Volumetric Flasks, Crucibles with Lid, Crucible Tongs, Evaporating Dishes, Funnels, Mortar and Pestle, Spatulas, Stirring Rods, Test Tubes (with Test Tube Brushes), Rubber and Cork Stoppers, Watch Glass, Vials (25mL & 50mL), Reagent Bottles (Amber and Transparent), Universal pH, and Digital pH meters.

These apparatus and laboratory supplies will greatly enhance our hands-on Science activities and strengthen our commitment to quality science education for our learners. 🧪
