‎The Sangguniang Barangay invites all enrolled Fourth-Year College Students for SY 2026–2027 who are residents of our barangay to attend the:

‎BAGONG PILIPINAS BARANGAY SCHOLARS PROGRAM
‎Orientation, Screening & Selection
‎
‎Five (5) deserving beneficiaries will be selected to receive:
‎
‎- ₱20,000.00 each
‎- Financial assistance for essential academic expenses
‎- A “Finisher Fund” to help students complete their college education
‎

‎During the activity, we will:
‎✅ Explain the DILG guidelines and eligibility requirements
‎✅ Discuss the selection and evaluation criteria
‎✅ Allow applicants to submit/complete the required information and documents
‎✅ Conduct the screening and evaluation
‎✅ Determine the qualified applicants and ranking based on the approved criteria
‎✅ Select the five (5) beneficiaries
‎
‎WHO ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND?
‎
‎All enrolled Fourth-Year College Students residing in the barangay are encouraged to attend, even if you are unsure whether you qualify.
‎
‎Please do not self-disqualify. Let the Selection Committee evaluate your eligibility based on the official guidelines and the same criteria for all applicants.
‎

‎• Valid ID / proof of identity
‎• Certificate of Enrollment/Registration or equivalent school document
‎• Documents relevant to your family's financial situation, if available
‎• Other documents that may help establish your eligibility

🌿🩸CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🩸🌿

In the spirit of binnulig and community service, the Municipality of Piddig will conduct a River Clean-Up Drive and Bloodletting Activity on March 21, 2026, in partnership with the Ilocos Norte Youth Development Office.

The River Clean-Up Drive will be held at Dingris River, along Barangay Libnaoan–Cabaroan–Loing, with the assembly point at Sitio Duyong, Barangay Libnaoan. Meanwhile, the Bloodletting Activity will take place at the Municipal Hall.

We encourage all 23 Barangays to support this meaningful initiative by sending at least five (5) blood donors per barangay. We also call on all Sangguniang Kabataan Officials to actively participate and take part in this life-saving and environment-protecting activity.

Let us work together to protect our environment and save lives. Your participation can make a difference! 💚

‎Anchored on the theme “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤: 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙨, 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙑𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮”, this year’s celebration was a jam-packed day full of excitement, creativity & healthy competition from start to finish. The festivities began at 5:00 AM with a lively Zumba session and Color Fun Run, setting an active and joyful tone for the day.

‎By 9:00 AM, creativity took center stage during the 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩, 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙠-𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and 𝙋𝙤𝙚𝙢 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩, where talents and traditions were proudly showcased.
