𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

‎Barangay San Antonio conducted the selection and screening for the 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 30, 2026, at the 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, with third- and fourth-year college students attending the event.

‎As part of the activity, the applicants were oriented regarding the 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮. They were also given the chance to submit the needed requirements for screening and evaluation.

‎Moreover, an 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 was held for the students wherein they could ask questions about the program and understand the guidelines and selection process.
‎
‎After a rigorous evaluation according to the criteria, 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 (3) 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱.

‎The names of the three qualified beneficiaries will be officially announced and posted on the Barangay San Antonio Piddig page.
‎
‎The selection underscores the commitment of Barangay San Antonio to a process grounded in 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 —ensuring that the scholarship is awarded based on qualifications and merit, and that every decision is made with integrity and remains accountable to the community.

‎BAGONG PILIPINAS BARANGAY SCHOLARS PROGRAM
‎Orientation, Screening & Selection
‎
‎Five (5) deserving beneficiaries will be selected to receive:
‎
‎- ₱20,000.00 each
‎- Financial assistance for essential academic expenses
‎- A “Finisher Fund” to help students complete their college education
‎

‎✅ Explain the DILG guidelines and eligibility requirements
‎✅ Discuss the selection and evaluation criteria
‎✅ Allow applicants to submit/complete the required information and documents
‎✅ Conduct the screening and evaluation
‎✅ Determine the qualified applicants and ranking based on the approved criteria
‎✅ Select the five (5) beneficiaries
‎
‎WHO ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND?
‎
‎All enrolled Fourth-Year College Students residing in the barangay are encouraged to attend, even if you are unsure whether you qualify.
‎
‎Please do not self-disqualify. Let the Selection Committee evaluate your eligibility based on the official guidelines and the same criteria for all applicants.

‎• Valid ID / proof of identity
‎• Certificate of Enrollment/Registration or equivalent school document
‎• Documents relevant to your family's financial situation, if available
‎• Other documents that may help establish your eligibility

🌿🩸CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🩸🌿

In the spirit of binnulig and community service, the Municipality of Piddig will conduct a River Clean-Up Drive and Bloodletting Activity on March 21, 2026, in partnership with the Ilocos Norte Youth Development Office.

The River Clean-Up Drive will be held at Dingris River, along Barangay Libnaoan–Cabaroan–Loing, with the assembly point at Sitio Duyong, Barangay Libnaoan. Meanwhile, the Bloodletting Activity will take place at the Municipal Hall.

We encourage all 23 Barangays to support this meaningful initiative by sending at least five (5) blood donors per barangay. We also call on all Sangguniang Kabataan Officials to actively participate and take part in this life-saving and environment-protecting activity.

Let us work together to protect our environment and save lives. Your participation can make a difference! 💚
