TULOY ANG RELIEF OPERATIONS SA MACABEBE, PAMPANGA

Patuloy ang ERD Team ng Tanggapan ni Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano at Sen. Pia Cayetano sa relief operations at assessment sa mga kalapit na barangay sa Macabebe, Pampanga.

Bilang paunang tulong, grocery packs at water gallons ang naipamahagi para sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan, mga bangkero, rescuers, at volunteers.

Patuloy pa rin ang epekto ng pagbaha sa lugar. Tatlong linggo nang walang face-to-face classes ang ilang estudyante at kasalukuyang gumagamit ng alternative
learning modalities.

Following recent incidents of fatal school shootings and other forms of violence that have raised concerns over the safety of students and teachers, Senate Minority Leader Kuya Alan Peter Cayetano signed Committee Report No. 89, recommending the approval of Senate Bill No. 2426, or the โ€œComprehensive School Safety Act.โ€

The measure seeks to institutionalize a comprehensive school safety framework that protects the safety and well-being of learners and school personnel while promoting a safe and supportive school community.

Sen. Kuya Alan has called on Filipinos not to normalize violence in schools, stressing that our schools must remain safe spaces where young people can learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. He supports a stronger and more coordinated approach to school safety so that learners and educators can focus on education without fear for their security.
