Public Hearing of Draft Ordinance entitled "An ordinance transferring/moving the celeration of Town Fiesta in the Municipality of Pasuquin" by the Committee on Tourism.

The Committee on Tourism and Members of the 13th Sanggunian held its Public Hearing this morning attended by Punong Barangays, Civic Society Organizations, Schools Heads and all concerned citizens regarding the proposed Ordinance on the Transfer or Moving the Date of the Celebration of the Town Fiesta of the Municipality of Pasuquin from December 26-30, of every year to December 17-23, of every year.
After a thorough discussions, soliciting comments, suggestions and opinions from the invitees and stakeholders, it come up with a positive result and unanimous decision to a possible change of date. The public hearing went well and this Ordinance be included in the measures to be tackled in the Regular Session on July 13, 2026, Monday creating the ordinance in accordance with the existing Law to permit Municipalities to change date of the Town Fiesta.
The 13th Sanggunian, in the Name of Public Service, will work at its Best to draft comprehensive Ordinance for the People of the Municipality of Pasuquin.
