TINGNAN | Anumang wika o diyalekto, handang tumugon ang Unified 911. 🗣️☎️🚨

Bukod sa Filipino at Ingles, may kakayahan ang Unified 911 na tumanggap ng mga emergency call sa iba’t ibang wika at diyalekto, tulad ng:

✅Region 1 at 2: Ilocano, Ibanag, at Yogad/Gaddang
✅Region 6: Hiligaynon (Ilonggo), Aklanon, Capiznon, at Kinaray-a
✅Region 7 at 8: Cebuano, at Waray

Layunin ng Unified 911 ang agarang aksyon mula sa pag-ulat ng insidente hanggang sa pagresponde. Anuman ang wika o diyalekto, makatitiyak ang publiko na may darating na tulong mula sa ating mga pulis, bumbero, rescue teams, at mga LGU, dahil ang bawat segundo ay mahalaga.

Promoting Work-Life Balance and Team Camaraderie…

Following a series of barangay audits, meetings, and the preparation and submission of various reports, the Barangay Secretaries of Pastrana, Leyte were given an opportunity to pause, recharge, and strengthen camaraderie through a meaningful wellness activity.

Last May 19, 2026, the hardworking Barangay Secretaries, together with the DILG Pastrana, Leyte Field Office, conducted a Mid-Year Assessment and Team-Building cm Wellness Activity at Jardin de Amara Resort.

The activity served as a venue to assess accomplishments and challenges during the first half of the year while promoting teamwork, wellness, and work-life balance among barangay functionaries.

As part of the continuing capacity development initiatives for barangay officials, the barangay officials of Pastrana, Leyte participated in a three-day Training on Public Financial Management (PFM) Concepts with updates on Barangay Procurement under Republic Act No. 12009.

Republic Act No. 12009, otherwise known as the New Government Procurement Act, which was approved on July 20, 2024, establishes eight governing principles aimed at strengthening and modernizing the government procurement system. These principles include transparency, competitiveness, efficiency, proportionality, accountability, participatory procurement, sustainability, and professionalism.

The law seeks to promote an organized, transparent, and equitable procurement process while encouraging public participation, fiscal responsibility, and environmental sustainability in government transactions and operations.

“All in a Day’s Work”

Mayor Matex Cayaco Marcos presided over the 2nd Quarter Cluster Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC), Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC), GAD Focal Point System (GFPS), and the Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) on May 14, 2026, at the New SB Building.

The meeting focused on the discussion of the following agenda items:

1. Peace and Order Situationer presented by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Army (PA);
2. Presentation of the Peace and Order Council (POC) Audit Result for Audit Year 2024 covering Assessment Year 2023 by the MLGOO;
3. Updates on the Implementation of the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan and Budget for CY 2026–2028 by the LGU POC/POPS Focal Person;
4. Updates on the implementation of Anti-Drug Abuse Programs presented by the PNP and Rural Health Unit (RHU);
5. Updates on the accomplishments of LCPC-related programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), including the result of the CFLGA Audit, presented by the MSWDO;
6. LCAT-VAWC updates and concerns;
7. GAD Focal Point System updates and concerns; and
8. Other Matters, including:
a. RCSGLG 2025 Audit Result; and
b. Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Preparatory Meeting.
