On March 17, 2026, the Local Project Monitoring Committee of Pastrana, Leyte, chaired by Hon. Gerardo Carian, convened for it's 1st Quarter Meeting at the SB Session Hall. The meeting highlights the approval of the Annual Monitoring & Evaluation Plan, Work & Financial Plan, and Monitoring & Evaluation Work Program.

Following the meeting the committee conducted site inspections of locally funded infrastructure projects, including:
1. Const. Of Two Storey Public Market with Covered Roof Deck
2. Const. Of Post Harvest Facility (Warehouse), Phase II
3. Const. Of Elevated Water Reservoir

On February 20 & 27, 2026, the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) of Pastrana, Leyte successfully attended a two-day online capacity-building training spearheaded by the DILG Leyte Provincial Office.
Day 1(February 20,2026): The orientation focused on the roles, functions, and responsibilities of the LPMC in project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Day 2(February 27,2026): The training highlighted contract management and construction supervision, equipping participants with practical knowledge on overseeing project ex*****on.

The Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) of Pastrana attended a half-day Online-Training on Inclusive Project Monitoring: Mainstreaming Gender, Youth, and Marginalized Voices in Local Development spearheaded by the DILG Leyte Provincial Office via Zoom Platform on June 25, 2025.

The activity aims the participants to capacitate and understand the concepts of social inclusion, gender sensitivity, and youth/ marginalized group participation in the context of project monitoring, and to equip LPMC members with practical tools and strategies for identifying and engaging marginalized groups in project monitoring activities.

IN PHOTOS|LPMC PASTRANA, LEYTE 2ND QUARTER MEETING & MONITORING OF INFRA PROJECTS

The Local Project Monitoring Committee of Pastrana, Leyte chaired by Hon.Gerardo S. Carian convened for its 2nd quarter regular meeting on June 18, 2025 at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall.

After the meeting, the LPMC conducted an on-site inspection of two on-going projects under the municipality's 20% Development Fund. The team inspected the Construction of Two-Storey Public Market with covered roof deck, and Construction of Nursery and Demo Farm in Brgy. Jones.

As the primary monitoring and evaluation arm of the Municipal Development Council, the LPMC remains in it's mandate to oversee the implementation of programs & projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the municipality.

The Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) of Pastrana, Leyte attended the 1 day Online-Training on the Conduct of Problem-Solving Session for LPMCs in Leyte spearheaded by the DILG Leyte Provincial Office via Zoom Platform on March 21, 2025.

The activity aims to capacitate the functionality of LPMC and to institutionalize problem-solving sessions as a mechanism to address issues and concerns related to the implementation of projects.

The highlights of the meeting are the discussion and approval of the annual plans, which include the monitoring & evaluation plan, work & financial plan, and the monitoring & evaluation work program.

After the meeting, the committee conducted an inspection and monitoring of the on-going locally funded project, Const. of Two-Storey Public Market.
