Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs!

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Iloilo Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Passi City, successfully conducted the two-day YouthPreneur Seminar: Developing Entrepreneurial and Business Planning Skills for the Senior High School students of Passi National High School—Grade 11 on July 27, 2026, and Grade 12 on July 28, 2026.

The seminar gathered 143 Senior High School students and provided them with practical knowledge on entrepreneurship, business planning, and innovation. The activity encouraged students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and explore future business opportunities.

DTI extends its sincere appreciation to Passi National High School, the Schools Division Office of Passi City, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Passi City, and all the teachers, students, and partners whose valuable support and collaboration made the seminar a success.

Together, we continue to empower the youth, foster innovation, and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Negosyo Center, conducted a Business Counselling Session for repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and MTD MSME beneficiaries to strengthen their entrepreneurial capabilities and support their livelihood initiatives.

The activity provided participants with personalized business guidance, covering enterprise development, business planning, market opportunities, and the various programs and services available through DTI. Participants also received practical advice on starting, managing, and sustaining their businesses.

The counselling session forms part of DTI's continuing commitment to empower aspiring and existing entrepreneurs by equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to build sustainable enterprises and improve their economic well-being.

Through initiatives like these, DTI reaffirms its dedication to promoting entrepreneurship, creating livelihood opportunities, and fostering resilient MSMEs that contribute to inclusive and sustainable local economic growth.
