𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁

The 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 successfully conducted its two-day 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 last September 2–3, 2026, in preparation for the upcoming 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜: 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 – 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 this October 2026. ☀️

To ensure an impactful learning experience for the incoming fellows, the team focused on thoroughly reviewing the program curriculum and refining operational plans. Grounding their efforts in holistic leadership support, the activity also featured capacity-building sessions on 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀, and 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 to strengthen team synergy and readiness. 🤝

Our 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 officially took their first step into the 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 through our 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—getting to know the fellowship, what lies ahead, and the journey they’re about to take together.

The 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 conducted the deliberation and selection process for applicants of the upcoming 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜: 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 – 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Each application was carefully reviewed and considered, reflecting the 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 of leaders from across the country. With so many promising applicants, selecting the next cohort was both an inspiring and challenging process.

The 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜: 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of Vice Governor (OVG) Farida “Diday” S. Co at the Albay Provincial Capitol attended by the OVG Chief of Staff and some employees of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce the BAGANI program and strengthen connections with the provincial government in support of youth leadership, good governance, and meaningful public service.

The 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜: 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮, paid a courtesy visit to the Municipality of Daraga at the Daraga Municipal Hall, where he met with Mayor Hon. Victor U. Perete, Vice Mayor Hon. Fleur Jazel T. Ruiz, and Councilor Hon. Atty. Leonides Teofilo De Lumen.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce the BAGANI: Rising Leaders Development Program (RLDP) and strengthen connections with local government leaders in advancing youth leadership, good governance, and meaningful public service.

Through engagements with local partners, BAGANI continues to create opportunities for young Filipino leaders to learn, lead, and make a positive impact in their communities.

The Supervising Fellow and Deputy Manager of the BAGANI: Rising Leaders Development Program (RLDP) enjoined Legazpi City Youth Development Office (LCYDO) in recognizing outstanding youth leaders and advocates at the Ibalong Youth Awards on August 17, 2026, at the Legazpi City Convention Center. The event was organized by the LCYDO in cooperation with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Pederasyon of Legazpi.

The gathering brought together SK officials, youth-serving organizations, partner institutions, and city leaders, including Legazpi City Mayor Hon. Hisham B. Ismail, Vice Mayor Hon. Luis Felipe L. Gutierrez, and SK Pederasyon President Hon. John Nicolas C. Garbin. Assistant Secretary Michael Christophe Agustin, NYC Commissioner Representing Luzon, graced the occasion as Guest of Honor.
