🚨 WE DIDN’T TAKE THE EASY ROAD.
WE TOOK THE ROAD THAT NEEDED US. ❤️
📍 091926 | Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal
Four hours.
Rough roads.
Rocky trails.
Zero regrets.
Because somewhere beyond those roads was a community waiting to be reminded:
YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. ❤️
The Rotary Club of Pasig Central brought TANGLAW NG PAG-ASA: A Basic Education and Literacy Project to the Dumagat Remontado community of Sitio Manggahan, Brgy. Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal.
Representing RCPC:
🔹 HIP Michael Morella
🔹 PP Jhing Delia Reyes
🔹 Rotarian Erbing Gabriel
And what happened next?
✨ SERVICE MODE: ON.
📚 Education supplies
🎨 Arts & creative activities
🌱 Fruit-bearing tree planting
🩺 Medical mission
🦷 Dental mission
💧 Water filters & essential supplies
🧸 Toys, clothes & relief goods
🥋 Basic Arnis training
🍽️ Boodle fight & fellowship
But here’s the real story:
This wasn’t a one-club show.
This was ROTARY IN ACTION. 🤝
Zone 6 Pasig Clubs came together with Rotaract and Interact youth, the Philippine Air Force, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, civic partners, private-sector supporters, sponsors, volunteers—and countless generous hearts who gave resources, time, skills and presence.
Different organizations.
Different strengths.
ONE COMMUNITY.
And at the center of it all?
The Dumagat Remontado families.
Children laughing by the river.
Families receiving much-needed assistance.
Community members joining the activities.
Volunteers sharing meals, stories and smiles.
It wasn’t just a project.
It was connection.
Because literacy isn’t only about books.
It’s about opening doors.
It’s about creating possibilities.
It’s about telling a child:
“Your future matters.” 📖✨
And sometimes, creating impact means going where the road gets difficult.
Where the signal disappears. 📵
Where the road gets rough. 🛻
Where the journey takes hours.
Because Service Above Self isn’t about convenience.
IT’S ABOUT SHOWING UP.

And when we serve together—
THE LIGHT SHINES BRIGHTER ✨
