PROTEKTAHAN ANG 'KALANTIAO AT LUBLUBAN'

Tumututol ang Bayan ng Angono sa petisyong alisin ang "Important Cultural Property" status ng 1946 painting ni National Artist for Visual Arts Carlos "Botong" Francisco na "Kalantiao at Lubluban."

Ipinagtibay ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Angono ang kanilang posisyon hinggil dito sa pamamagitan ng Resolution No. 182, kung saan hinimok nila ang National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) at iba pang kaukulang cultural agencies na itaguyod ang proteksyon sa naturang obra.

“The Municipality recognizes and respects the lawful rights of private owners and custodians of works of art. However, a work of exceptional cultural significance is more than an object of private ownership. It forms part of the artistic legacy and cultural memory of the Filipino nation,” anila.

"For Angono, 'Kalantiao at Lubluban' carries particular significance. Botong Francisco is inseparable from the cultural identity of our town. His art was deeply shaped by the people, traditions, landscapes, and history of Angono, while his works helped give enduring visual form to the Filipino story."

Kasunod nito, tinalakay din ang mga usapin at concerns ng ating mga tricycle operators at samahan, upang mabigyang-linaw ang mga isyu, marinig ang bawat panig, at matukoy ang nararapat na hakbang para sa maayos at patas na sistema.
