💉 WORLD IMMUNIZATION WEEK 2026 💉

In celebration of World Immunization Week 2026, with the theme “BAWAT HENERASYON, EPEKTIBO ANG BAKUNA,” the RizalMed Department of Pediatrics, in collaboration with the Public Health Unit (PHU), conducted a successful outreach in Barangay Palatiw, Pasig City, on April 26, 2026.

Children, parents, and pregnant women participated in an engaging session led by Dr. Abigail Rivera. The initiative was supported by Dr. Margaret Foronda, Dr. Karen Quin, and the PHU, headed by Dr. Marivie Ontiveros, and by 7 Pediatric residents. Facilitated by Dr. Rachel De Vera, the program was made possible by the support of Barangay Captain Eriberto Guevarra and RizalMed Medical Center Chief Dr. Maria Rica Lumague, marking its second year of an impactful community partnership.

The initiative brings together public and private healthcare institutions to improve coordination, enhance donor identification and management, and build capacity for transplant services in Pasig City.
