The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines and the Ikebana International Manila Chapter welcome delegates to the 16th Asian Regional Conference of Ikebana International at Conrad Manila on October 1, 2026.

For four days, ikebana enthusiasts from across Asia come together to share their love for the Japanese art of flower arrangement through floral exhibitions, meetings, and a grand demonstration by ikebana headmaster Hiroki Ohara.

This year’s theme, 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘢-𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢, captures what this gathering is about, coming together, sharing cultures, and strengthening the friendship between the Philippines and Japan. 🇵🇭🇯🇵

As the country’s tourism promotions arm, TPB is proud to support gatherings that bring people to the Philippines not only for business, but also to connect, experience our culture, and build lasting ties. Events like this also show what the Philippines can offer as a destination for MICE and special-interest gatherings.

Ready to discover more about ikebana? We are on the second day of our four-day conference! The exhibition is still open to the public for FREE today, October 2, and concludes tomorrow, October 3, at the Taft Ballrooms, Conrad Manila.

From island escapes, heritage destinations, and world-class hospitality to Filipino wellness, culture, and food, we hope everyone enjoyed the diverse Philippine experiences we brought to Tokyo at Tourism Expo Japan (TEJ) 2026.

TEJ 2026 welcomed more than 183,000 visitors and 1,420 exhibitors from 74 countries worldwide and 46 regions across Japan, bringing together destinations, travel partners, and travelers from around the world.

The 12-seller Philippine delegation conducted 408 business meetings which generated PHP 404 million in reported sales leads, building on TPB and DOT’s continued engagement in one of the country’s key tourism markets.

The Philippines is at Tourism Expo Japan (TEJ) 2026 🇵🇭🇯🇵

The first two days of TEJ 2026 brought the Philippine delegation together with Japanese buyers and tourism partners for business meetings, product presentations, and conversations on bringing more Philippine destinations and travel experiences to the Japanese market. 🤝

The trade program culminated in the Philippine Networking Reception, hosted by Honorable Mylene G. Albano at The Kudan, the Official Residence of the Philippine Ambassador to Japan, and organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines.

Conversations continued beyond the exhibition floor with Japanese industry partners, the Philippine delegation of 12 sellers led by Undersecretary Stanley K. Ng, and Tourism Attaché Niel Ballesteros, who oversees market engagement in Tokyo.

Tomorrow, our doors are open to everyone. 🫶

On 26–27 September, the Philippine booth welcomes the public with destination showcases, wellness experiences, live performances, travel talks, and interactive activities.
