BFP Pasacao Fire Station personnel conducted strategic deployment during the Hataw Pasacao Cycling Challenge to ensure the safety and security of all participants, spectators, and event organizers. Firefighters were positioned at key areas such as the starting and finish lines, major intersections, and identified high-risk zones, with fire trucks and emergency equipment placed on standby for rapid response. They also performed continuous monitoring of potential hazards, provided first aid assistance when necessary, and maintained close coordination with MDRRMO, local government units, and other responding agencies.
This deployment is important as it strengthens emergency preparedness and minimizes risks associated with large-scale public events. The presence of BFP personnel ensures immediate response to accidents, medical emergencies, or fire-related incidents, thereby preventing escalation and safeguarding lives and properties. Furthermore, it highlights effective inter-agency collaboration and reinforces public confidence, contributing to the smooth, safe, and successful conduct of the cycling challenge.
