Labay Elementary School Launches ARAL Program...
The ARAL Program was officially launched at Labay Elementary School on September 15, 2025, as part of the Department of Education’s initiative to address the country's learning crisis and strengthen the foundational skills of Filipino learners.
The ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program, is designed to help learners overcome academic challenges, particularly in reading, numeracy, and essential life skills. Through focused interventions, remedial sessions, and teacher-guided activities, the program aims to bridge learning gaps and to ensure that no learner is left behind.
In her message during the launch, Ms. Gladys L. Cabo, the School Head, expressed optimism about the program’s impact: “The ARAL Program is not just about addressing learning gaps, it is about giving every learner the opportunity to succeed and build confidence in their abilities.”
“This program is a big help for us teachers. It provides us with structured strategies to guide learners who need more assistance in mastering the basics.”, she added.
Teachers, parents and stakeholders also showed their full support. With their combined efforts, Labay Elementary School envisions to improve academic performance and a stronger culture of excellence among its learners through the ARAL Program.
