MSWDO Personnel Ms. May Lanie Bumosao, together with two Job Order Workers, Ms. Haney Mae Walingchan and Ms. Philian Naimes, successfully attended the Couples Seminar and Fellowship sponsored by Mt. Moriah Child Development Center (MMCDC) held at Butigue, Paracelis, Mountain Province.

The MSWDO staff also served as resource speakers during the seminar, which carried the meaningful theme “Maintaining a Healthy Family.” The activity aimed to strengthen marital relationships, promote family harmony, and encourage open communication among couples.

With grateful hearts, Tanufong KALIPI proudly expresses its sincerest appreciation to all offices, and partners who continuously extend their support to their association. Through a composed appreciation song with matching dance, members shared not only their voices but also their stories of unity, hope, and empowerment as women working together for the betterment of their families and community.

KALIPI Capability Building and Year-End Christmas Party 2025

The KALIPI Capability Building and Year-End Christmas Party was successfully held on December 20, 2025 at the Poblacion Barangay Hall, bringing together members in a joyful celebration of learning, unity, and the true spirit of Christmas.

The activity was attended by MSWD personnel, namely Ms. May Lanie Bumosao, Ms. Melanie Fagyan, Ms. Sunshine Facale, and Ms. Philian Naimes, who showed their continued support to the KALIPI organization and its members.

The program was facilitated by the staff who shared meaningful words of wisdom and inspiration, encouraging everyone to embrace hope, gratitude, and solidarity as the year comes to a close and the new year approaches.

Adding fun and excitement to the celebration, parlor games were facilitated by the staff, allowing members to actively participate and enjoy the festive atmosphere. A raffle draw, generously sponsored by the MSWD staff, further heightened the excitement and brought smiles to the participants.

The activity not only strengthened camaraderie among KALIPI members but also reinforced their capabilities through shared learning and positive engagement. This meaningful gathering reflects the continued commitment of the MSWDO in empowering women and fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

Mabaclao SLP Association Open Doors, Strengthens Community Livelihood in Barangay Bantay .

Barangay Bantay, Paracelis, Mountain Province — December 15, 2025.
The Mabaclao Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association officially marked its opening, signaling a major step forward in advancing community-based livelihood initiatives in Barangay Bantay.

The opening ceremony was graced by two (2) personnel from the MSWDO Paracelis, Melanie Fagyan and May Lanie Bumosao shared meaningful and inspirational messages with the association members. The messages highlighted the vital role of unity, accountability, and sustainability in ensuring the long-term success of the livelihood project.

In her message, Ms. May Lanie Bumosao, SLP Focal Person of the MSWDO Paracelis, emphasized that the project’s sustainability lies in collective responsibility, transparent management, and the active participation of all members. She further shared that the livelihood initiative should serve not only as a source of income but also as a symbol of cooperation, self-reliance, and community empowerment. Through hard work, proper stewardship of resources, and continued community support, the association can ensure that the efforts invested today will yield lasting benefits for present and future generations.

With a seed capital fund amounting to Php 500,000.00, the Mabaclao SLP Association is now fully operational and ready to serve the community. The livelihood project offers a variety of consumer goods, including different types of feeds and rice, as well as land transport services (BAJAJ) to help improve mobility and accessibility within the locality.

The Mabaclao SLP Association was organized in partnership with the OFAS and the MSWDO of the Local Government Unit of Paracelis, headed by Hon. Marcos G. Ayangwa, and is funded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).

This is the final list of the DSWD Risk Resiliency Program - Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation - PROJECT LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access) and BINHI (Breaking Insufficiency for an Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished) through CASH FOR TRAINING and WORK. The partner beneficiaries listed below will undergo 3 days Cash for Training, next is 15 days Cash for Work ( Communal Gardening and Establishing water access) then another 2 days Cash for training for the sustainability of the project with a total of 20 days.
